Is it a wise investment for small business owners?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views10 comments
Many small business owners are looking for versatile and cost effective vehicle options to help them in their business. The Tata Magic CNG 8 Seater is aimed at small businesses, right from delivery services to shuttle services. It’s a heated debate because of its return on investment, taking into account the initial cost, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs and versatility. Others have lauded how it can be used for more than one purpose: to move people, or to transport goods. Some also doubt whether its capacity and features fit with the requirements of a particular business. Resale value and long term operational costs are compared with other commercial vehicles, as well. But the CNG variant brings another dimension to this debate, namely fuel availability and long term savings.

The CNG kit is really good, but in some areas gas stations with CNG are hard to find. Consider your routes carefully.

For my small shop, it’s a bit overkill. A smaller pickup would have been easier to park.

The resale value is decent. If you plan on upgrading in a few years, that’s a big plus.

If you’re not careful, maintenance costs can start to add up. It's not quite as rugged as some other commercial vehicles, either.

It’s been great as my small hotel shuttle. The comfortable ride from the station is a relief to guests.

The lack of AC in base models is a problem, but it's good. Customers complain in summer.

In the long run, the CNG variant is a money saver. I pay far less for fuel than my old diesel van.

At least it’s versatile. Weekdays I use it for deliveries, weekends I use it as a tour van.

A little expensive in the beginning for small businesses. It took me a while to break even.

Absolutely! I use it for a catering business. It is perfect for carrying staff and equipment.
