About
The Yezdi Roadster is a modern-classic cruiser that marks the return of the Yezdi brand to the Indian market. Powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, it produces 29.29bhp of power and 29Nm of torque, making it one of the more powerful options in its segment. The bike features a full-LED headlamp and tail lamp, dual-channel ABS, hazard lights, and a fully-digital instrument cluster, which adds to its modern appeal. The Roadster has a distinctive design that draws comparisons to Harley Davidson, with its retro styling and comfortable seating. However, it struggles with issues like engine heating, loud radiator sounds, and frequent gear shifting. The bikes handling is nimble in city traffic, and the brakes are commendable, but it lacks the refinement and consistency needed to outshine its rivals. Despite these flaws, the Yezdi Roadster remains an attractive option for those seeking a stylish and powerful cruiser with a rich brand heritage.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Yezdi Roadster is a mixed bag, offering both impressive and disappointing aspects. On the positive side, it boasts a powerful 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 29.29bhp of power and 29Nm of torque, making it a joy to ride, especially for those who appreciate punchy acceleration. The bikes sharp brakes, decent slow-speed handling, and accessible seat height are also notable positives. However, several issues detract from the overall experience. The engine heating and loud radiator sound can be irritating, and the frequent gear shifting due to short gear ratios can be tiring. Additionally, the fit and finish could be better, and the ride quality, while manageable, could be plusher. For those who value style and performance over practicality, the Yezdi Roadster might be a good choice, but it falls short in terms of refinement and consistency.
Price
In India, the Yezdi Roadster is priced competitively within the cruiser segment. The ex-showroom price for the Yezdi Roadster starts around 2.05 lakh, depending on the color and variant. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around 2.50 lakh to 2.70 lakh. While this pricing is attractive compared to some of its rivals like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, its important to consider the overall value for money, including the bikes performance, features, and reliability. Given the mix of positives and negatives, the price seems reasonable but not exceptional, especially considering the need for improvements in several areas.
Yezdi Roadster Chrome on road price is Rs 2.45 lakh in Delhi, Rs 2.53 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 2.48 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 2.51 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Yezdi dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.
Latest Updates
Wednesday, 17 July 2024 03:58 PM
Yezdi has announced that the Roadster now comes with a free Trail pack, which includes accessories worth Rs 16,000. This move is aimed at enhancing the bikes touring capabilities. The pack adds value to the already feature-rich Roadster. I think this is a great move to attract more adventure-seekers to the Yezdi brand.

The Yezdi Roadster has been updated with new color options ahead of the festive season. The new colors, Fire and Ice, are part of the bikes refreshed palette, with prices starting at Rs 2.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This update should help the Roadster stay competitive in the market. I believe these new colors will appeal to a wider range of buyers.

Yezdi has introduced new variants and colors for the 2023 Roadster, including the Crimson Dual Tone and other Dark and Chrome variants. The Crimson Dual Tone is priced at Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom). These updates are part of Yezdis effort to keep the Roadster fresh and appealing. I think the new color options will help in attracting more customers.
Thursday, 28 September 2023 04:52 PM
The Yezdi Roadster has been updated to comply with OBD-2 norms, and it now features a larger rear sprocket to enhance low-end performance and redesigned mufflers for a revised exhaust note. These changes aim to improve the overall riding experience. I believe these updates will make the Roadster more efficient and enjoyable to ride.

Yezdi launched the Roadster, Scrambler, and Adventure motorcycles in 2022, all powered by the same 334cc engine but in different states of tune. The Roadster, in particular, has been well-received for its blend of retro charm and modern features. I think Yezdi made a smart move by offering a range of bikes with a common engine, making maintenance and parts easier.
Mileage
Monday, 18 November 2024 12:25 PM
The mileage of the Yezdi Roadster is a point of concern for many potential buyers. In city conditions, the bike typically delivers around 23-25 kmpl, which is on the lower side compared to some of its competitors. On the highway, the mileage can improve slightly, but it still doesnt match the efficiency of some other bikes in the same segment. This lower mileage, combined with the engine heating issues, makes the Yezdi Roadster less ideal for daily commutes or long tours where fuel efficiency is a priority. However, for those who prioritize power and style over mileage, this might not be a significant deterrent. Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

Just go for it guys. Trust me this bike stands out in the public. People look at it continously and yes after first service the milage improves and the heating before 1000 km almost decreases. The bike became much smoother after first service. I own a green colour one. :)
Best Features: The power is the best. You will get adrenaline rush while riding this beast
Pros: The power, the feel of riding, handling and its accurate speedometer. This bike is so good in each and every segment
Cons: People can say that it has less service center but in reality it has almost similar service center compared to Royal Enfield
