TVS Motor Company is set to launch a new 300cc adventure motorcycle in mid-2025, designed to compete in the adventure bike segment. This bike is expected to feature a brand-new engine, possibly leveraging technology from the Apache RR 310 and RTR 310 models. It will come with a six-speed gearbox, USD front forks, and a rear monoshock. The bike will also include advanced electronics like LED lighting, multiple ride modes, and a fully digital instrument console. I think this will be a game-changer for TVS in the adventure bike market.

The upcoming TVS 300cc adventure bike has been spotted testing and is expected to have rugged, adventure-focused styling with muscular body panels. It will be equipped with front and rear disc brakes, wire-spoke wheels with tubed tires, and possibly a 21-inch front wheel and a 19-inch option for flexibility. The suspension will feature adjustable springs, aligning with TVS’s commitment to high-performance components. I believe the adjustable suspension will make it a favorite among off-road enthusiasts.

TVS’s new adventure motorcycle is anticipated to use the same 310cc engine platform but will not be based on the BMW F 450 GS underpinnings, despite the BMW-TVS partnership. The bike will likely include adjustable USD forks, disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, and a host of electronic aids similar to those on the RTR 310 and Apache RR 310. This will position it between entry-level off-roaders like the Xpulse 210 and the Himalayan 450. I think the inclusion of advanced safety features will be a major selling point.

The TVS 300cc adventure bike is in its final stages of development, with ongoing testing aimed at refining its performance and features. The bike is expected to bridge the gap between models like the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, offering both versatility and premium features. It will likely become the flagship in the TVS lineup, representing the brand’s most premium offering. I believe this will be a significant milestone for TVS in expanding its market reach.

TVS has been working on an adventure motorcycle for some time, leveraging its expertise in the off-road competition segment. The new bike will feature a robust design with wire-spoke wheels and tubed tires, ensuring durability for off-road adventures. It will also come with multiple ride modes and a fully digital instrument console, enhancing its appeal to both off-road enthusiasts and daily riders. I think the combination of off-road capability and daily usability will make it very attractive.

TVS Motor Company has patented the design of the RTS X 300 Supermoto Concept in India, indicating that its launch is closer. This move suggests that TVS is serious about entering the supermoto segment. I think this could be a game-changer for TVS in the Indian market.
Monday, 20 January 2025 02:15 PM
TVS showcased the RTS X Supermoto concept at Auto Expo 2025, highlighting their vision for the future of supermoto bikes in India. The concepts performance and design have generated significant interest among motorcycle enthusiasts.
Friday, 17 January 2025 04:40 PM
The TVS RTS X Supermoto concept was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, showcasing a new 299cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 35bhp and 28.5Nm of torque. The bike features a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter and can go from 0-100kmph in 6.3 seconds. The design includes a sharp headlight unit and minimalistic tail section.
Friday, 17 January 2025 09:21 AM
The RTS X concept is based on the RTR 310 platform but has distinct bodywork, including a single long seat and a new subframe painted in full white. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels and features 43mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The kerb weight is 144kg, making it a fun and agile ride.
Friday, 17 January 2025 11:29 AM
TVS has not confirmed if the RTS X will go into production, but if the KTM 390 SMC R gains traction in India, TVS might enter the supermoto segment with the RTS X. This speculation hints at a competitive strategy by TVS to capture market share. I believe this could lead to some exciting competition in the Indian motorcycle market.
Friday, 17 January 2025 02:52 AM
The TVS RTS X Supermoto concept boasts a tall seat height of 875mm, which might be a challenge for some riders. However, the overall design and performance specs make it an attractive option for those looking for a supermoto experience. The bikes acceleration and handling capabilities are certainly noteworthy.
Friday, 17 January 2025 01:12 PM
The RTS X concept features a unique yellow and white paint scheme, adding to its visually appealing design. The minimalistic styling of the tail section and the sharp headlight unit make it stand out. I think the aesthetics of this bike are quite impressive and could appeal to many enthusiasts.
