Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, particularly the rear disc variant, is a compelling choice for those seeking a blend of performance, style, and practicality. The motorcycle boasts an improved power output of 17.4bhp and 14.73Nm of torque, making it more agile and fun to ride. The new double-cradle split Synchro Stiff frame and the race-tuned Showa monoshock suspension enhance its handling and stability, especially around corners. While the braking setup, though satisfactory, lacks initial bite, the single-channel ABS provides a necessary safety net. The fully digital instrument cluster and features like LED headlight and taillight add to its modern appeal. However, minor drawbacks such as the quality of the LED DRLs and the absence of a gear position indicator are notable. Overall, it is a well-rounded package that caters to both daily commuting and occasional spirited riding.
Price
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V rear disc variant is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price in Delhi starts at around Rs 1.10 lakh, making it an attractive option for those looking for a performance-oriented commuter bike. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to approximately Rs 1.30 lakh to Rs 1.35 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing positions the Apache RTR 160 4V favorably against its competitors, offering a good balance of performance, features, and value for money.

Yesterday itself (23/11/2015) I purchased Matte blue ABS version of this cool bike. I already had one 160 RTR and Pulsar 180. But this one beats them. Powerful engine with high thrust power with good center of gravity are best features of this bike. Moreover the matte Blue colour is really awesome and makes it different from others. I will recommend all of you that always you can go for this bike as you'll never regret. Good luck !!
