Friday, 04 August 2023 05:05 PM Suzuki has officially discontinued the Suzuki Zeus, and the bike is no longer in production. This decision marks the end of an era for a model that had its share of loyal followers, despite some criticisms regarding its performance and reliability. I think this move is a sign of Suzuki focusing on more modern and competitive models in the Indian market.
Saturday, 15 July 2023 05:43 AM The Suzuki Zeus was known for its 124cc, 4-stroke air-cooled OHC engine, producing 8.5 BHP at 7500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. However, users often complained about the bikes poor suspension and handling issues, particularly the extreme under-steer and lack of stability. I believe these issues were significant factors in its declining popularity.
Tuesday, 20 June 2023 11:09 PM Owners of the Suzuki Zeus frequently reported poor service experiences, including increasing service costs and unresolved problems. A normal service would cost around Rs. 400, and the quality of parts was often criticized, with issues like cracked plastic components and weak electrical systems. This poor after-sales service likely deterred many potential buyers.
Thursday, 25 May 2023 07:00 AM In terms of design and styling, the Suzuki Zeus received mixed reviews. While some found the bikes looks subjective, many criticized its kicked-in rear wheel and overall aesthetic. The bikes dimensions included a wheelbase of 1240 mm and a ground clearance of 155 mm, but its design never quite resonated with the broader market. I think the design was one of the weaker points of the Zeus.
Monday, 10 April 2023 11:55 PM The Suzuki Zeus had a mileage of around 60 kmpl, which was one of its better features. However, over time, the fuel efficiency would drop significantly, with some owners reporting mileage as low as 40 kmpl. This decline in fuel efficiency was a major disappointment for those who bought the bike for its economy.
Wednesday, 15 March 2023 06:42 AM The bike featured a telescopic front suspension and a swing-arm type rear suspension, both coil spring and oil-damped. Despite this, the suspension was often described as one of the worst in the Indian bike segment, contributing to a very bad riding experience. I believe better suspension could have significantly improved the bikes appeal.
Monday, 20 February 2023 01:38 PM The Suzuki Zeus came with a 5-speed gearbox and a wet multiplate clutch. While the gearbox was considered okay, the overall performance of the bike was best in the 40-60 kmph range, where it provided good thrust. Above 3k rpm and below 5k rpm, the engine felt at home, but it struggled at higher speeds.
Wednesday, 25 January 2023 09:36 AM The braking system of the Suzuki Zeus included a front disc brake, which was praised for its effectiveness despite lacking feel. However, the rear brake was a drum type, which was less efficient compared to disc brakes. I think upgrading to disc brakes all around could have enhanced safety and performance.
Thursday, 15 December 2022 07:13 AM The Suzuki Zeus had a kerb weight of 114 kg and a seat height of 790 mm, making it relatively accessible for riders of various heights. However, the bikes stability issues and poor handling made it less comfortable for long rides. I believe these factors were crucial in its limited appeal.
Thursday, 10 November 2022 11:25 PM The Suzuki Zeus was part of a collaboration between Suzuki and TVS Motor Company, which ended in 2001. After the alliance, Suzuki continued to produce bikes in India but eventually phased out the Zeus due to its poor market reception. I think this collaboration could have been more fruitful with better product planning.
Wednesday, 05 October 2022 07:48 PM Despite its discontinuation, the Suzuki Zeus still holds a place in the hearts of some enthusiasts who appreciate its unique characteristics. However, for most, the bikes numerous shortcomings made it a less desirable option in the competitive Indian motorcycle market.

When we bought this bike many people were not agree that we made a correct decision. But Zeus performance make our decision correct. I got 70-75 at highway and 65-68 in city easily. Torque is great and sound is roaring that make a vibrant presence everywhere. One more thing that it is unique. Body finish is great and bike looks new till date. Suzuki use same engine in Slingshot but this bike was batter.

Best Features: Strong engine and comfortable rideing

Pros: Build quality, mileage

Cons: Small front looks and part only at showroom
