Our take on this /// Verdict
The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT is a versatile and reliable adventure bike that excels in both on-road and off-road scenarios. Its 1037cc V-twin engine delivers smooth and consistent power, making it ideal for long-distance touring. The bikes handling is commendable, with easy gear changes and a light clutch action that enhances its rideability. The suspension, though not highly adjustable, does a superb job of filtering out bumps and maintaining stability during cornering. While it may not boast the highest power figures, its 107 hp and 100 Nm of torque are more than sufficient for most riding conditions. The addition of features like cruise control, multiple riding modes, and a load-dependent braking system further enhance its usability. However, the bikes weight and the need for some adjustments to the windshield and seat comfort might be minor drawbacks. Overall, the V-Strom 1050 XT is a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable, reliable, and capable adventure bike.

Latest Updates
Tuesday, 06 June 2023 05:53 PM
The new V-STROM 1050 and V-STROM 1050DE retain much of the aesthetic of the previous V-STROM models but with some minor design tweaks. The build quality is typical of mass-produced Japanese bikes, logical but not always visually appealing. However, the V-STROM 1050DEs design changes, such as the wider handlebars and aluminum engine protectors, have been well-received. I think the design updates are a step in the right direction, even if the bike isnt the prettiest in its class.

The bike also features three riding modes and a Gravel mode on the DE version. Reviewers have praised the smooth and responsive throttle response. I believe the engine tweaks and additional modes make the V-STROM 1050 a versatile and enjoyable ride.

Sales for the V-STROM 1050 and V-STROM 1050DE began in January 2023, with the standard model priced at $22,990 and the DE model at $24,690. There is speculation that Suzuki might offer incentives or discounts in the future due to market competition and economic factors. I think its wise for potential buyers to wait for any upcoming deals that could make these bikes more affordable.

Suzuki has launched the V-STROM 1050DE, a more off-road-focused version of the V-STROM 1050. This model features a 21-inch front wheel, switchable ABS, and a Gravel traction control mode to enhance off-road performance. It also includes a longer wheelbase, wider handlebars, and aluminum engine protection. I think this is a great move by Suzuki to cater to the growing demand for adventure bikes with serious off-road capabilities.
