Our take on this /// Verdict
The Gogoro Pulse EV is a game-changer in the Indian electric scooter market, offering a blend of high-performance, advanced technology, and practicality. With its 9-kW Hyper Drive H1 motor, this scooter delivers impressive acceleration, reaching 50 kmh in just 3.05 seconds, and a top speed of 116 kmh. The 378 Nm of torque makes it one of the most powerful electric scooters available. The Pulse also boasts a sophisticated 10.25-inch panoramic HD touch display powered by a Snapdragon QWM2290 chipset, providing features like turn-by-turn navigation and real-time traffic updates. The active-matrix lighting system and multiple ride modes add to its appeal. While the price might be on the higher side, the Pulses performance, tech, and convenience features make it a compelling choice for those seeking a premium electric scooter experience.
Price
The Gogoro Pulse EV is expected to be priced around 1,50,000 ex-showroom in India. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price could rise to approximately 1,70,000 to 1,80,000, depending on the state and local taxes. While this is certainly on the premium side for an electric scooter, the Pulses advanced features, high-performance capabilities, and the convenience of Gogoros battery-swapping network justify the cost. For those who value technology, performance, and the ease of use that comes with a well-integrated ecosystem, the Pulse is well worth the investment.

Mileage
Monday, 18 November 2024 01:46 PM
The mileage of the Gogoro Pulse EV is quite impressive, especially considering its high-performance nature. According to Gogoro, the Pulse can achieve a maximum riding range of approximately 170 km per battery swap when riding at a constant 30 kmh. However, this range can vary significantly based on the riding style and conditions. In real-world usage, you can expect a range of around 120-150 km on a single charge, which is more than adequate for daily commuting and short trips. The quick 2-hour charging time and the extensive battery-swapping network further reduce range anxiety, making the Pulse a practical choice for daily use.
