About
The LML Graptor, produced from 2004 to 2010, was a commuter motorcycle designed to cater to the needs of everyday riders in India. It featured a 150.8cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that produced 13.5 HP at 8000 RPM and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. The bike had a 5-speed manual transmission and a chain final drive. It came in two variants the ES model with an electric starter and the KS model with a kick start. The Graptor had a dry weight of 136 kg, a wheelbase of 1280 mm, and a ground clearance of 170 mm, making it stable and manageable. The bike was available in several color options, including Black, Maroon, Silver, and Blue. With its robust build, comfortable suspension, and decent performance, the LML Graptor was a reliable choice for those seeking a no-frills commuting motorcycle.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The LML Graptor 150, although discontinued, was an interesting addition to the Indian motorcycle market during its time. With its 150.8cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine producing 13.5 HP at 8000 RPM, it offered a decent balance of power and fuel efficiency. The bike featured a 5-speed gearbox and a chain final drive, which was standard for its segment. The front disc brake and rear drum brake provided adequate stopping power, while the telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear ensured a comfortable ride. However, the bikes overall design and features, while robust and stable, did not particularly stand out in a crowded market. My verdict is that the LML Graptor was a reliable commuter bike but lacked the flair and advanced features that could have made it a top choice.
Price
The LML Graptor was priced competitively in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom price of around 58,500 in Delhi. However, prices could vary depending on the location and any additional features or accessories. On-road prices would have included additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, potentially pushing the total cost to around 65,000 to 70,000. Given its specifications and the market conditions at the time, the pricing was reasonable but not exceptionally attractive compared to other offerings in the 150cc segment.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 04:59 AM
The LML Graptor was known for its fuel efficiency, which is a crucial factor for many Indian buyers. With an estimated mileage of around 45-50 kmpl in city conditions and up to 55 kmpl on highways, it was a economical choice for daily commuting. This mileage, combined with its 8-liter fuel tank, made it a practical option for those looking to minimize running costs.
