USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Phoenix 125 Disc is a solid contender in the 125cc commuter segment, offering a well-rounded package that caters to the needs of urban riders. While it lacks a fifth gear, which can be felt during long highway rides, its four-speed gearbox is sufficient for city commuting. The bikes comfort is evident from its long single padded seat and upright riding posture, making it ideal for navigating through heavy traffic. The suspension, though sometimes a bit disconcerting, provides excellent ride quality on bumpy roads. Braking is another strong point, with the 240mm petal disc at the front and 130mm drum brakes at the rear offering superior stopping power. However, the absence of under-seat storage and some modern features like LED tail lights might be a drawback for some. Overall, its a premium commuter bike that checks most of the right boxes, especially considering its competitive pricing and feature-loaded package.
Price
The TVS Phoenix 125 Disc is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the disc brake version was around Rs. 53,000, which is about Rs. 1,600 less than its direct competitor, the Bajaj Discover 125ST. On-road prices, including taxes and other charges, would typically range from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 62,000, depending on the city. This pricing makes the Phoenix an attractive option for those looking for a feature-rich commuter bike without breaking the bank. The value for money is enhanced by its top-notch switchgear, hazard lamps, and other segment-first features, making it a compelling choice in its class.

Hi, I am Suresh Nagpal from Chennai. I bought TVS Phoenix three year back and is happy with its performance. It is a strong contender in the 125 cc segment. It is best suited for normal commuters who want excellent fuel efficiency combined with decent pickup and mileage. The brakes are very sharp and headlights are also very bright and you cannot face troubles during night. The looks and design is satisfactory not so much impressive. Shifting gears is very hard which sometimes create problem while driving fast. But overall it is a good bike which is budget friendly and is best fro daily commuters.

Best Features: Good Pickup & Value For Money

Pros: Easy handling, refined engine, good pick up, good value for money
