Krisaki VIXA 250
General information and overview
The Krisaki VIXA 250 is a 250cc air-cooled motorcycle designed to offer a comfortable and practical riding experience. It features a single-cylinder engine that produces 16.1 BHP at 7500 rpm and 18 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm, making it suitable for both city commuting and occasional highway rides. The bike has a relaxed riding stance with a seat height that is manageable for most riders. The suspension is tuned for comfort, providing a smooth ride on various road conditions. While it may not be the most powerful bike in its segment, the VIXA 250 excels in its ease of handling and everyday usability, making it a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and comfortable motorcycle.
Expert opinion and recommendation
The Krisaki VIXA 250 is a promising entry in the Indian motorcycle market, particularly for those seeking a balance between comfort and performance. With its 250cc air-cooled engine producing 16.1 BHP at 7500 rpm and 18 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm, it offers a decent power output for everyday riding. The relaxed riding stance and manageable seat height make it accessible to a wide range of riders. However, the bikes performance is not its strongest suit, especially when compared to more powerful competitors in the same segment. The VIXA 250 shines in its comfort and practicality, making it a good choice for commuters and casual riders who prioritize ease of use over raw power.
Recent news and announcements
Krisaki has announced that the VIXA 250 will come with advanced safety features, including ABS and a robust braking system, enhancing the bikes overall safety profile. This move is expected to attract more safety-conscious buyers. I think this is a great step towards making motorcycles safer on Indian roads.
The Krisaki VIXA 250 has been launched in India, but the challenge of finding a Krisaki showroom remains. Potential buyers have to rely on submitting inquiries to find out more about availability. This lack of visibility might slow down the bikes market penetration.
The Krisaki VIXA 250 boasts a powerful engine with a displacement of 250cc, offering a maximum power of around 25 HP. This makes it a strong contender in the mid-size motorcycle segment in India. I believe the performance will appeal to riders looking for a balance between power and handling.
Krisaki has highlighted the VIXA 250s design, which includes sleek and aerodynamic bodywork, aimed at reducing wind resistance and enhancing the riding experience. The bikes styling is expected to appeal to the younger demographic.
Speculations suggest that the Krisaki VIXA 250 could be priced competitively in the Indian market, likely in the range of Rs. 1.8 to Rs. 2.2 lakhs. This pricing strategy could help the bike gain traction against established brands.
Pricing details and changes
The Krisaki VIXA 250 is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this model is typically around 1.8 to 2.0 lakhs, depending on the region and any additional features or variants. Once you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around 2.2 to 2.5 lakhs. While this is not the cheapest option in its class, the VIXA 250 offers a good balance of features and performance that justifies its price point. For those looking for a reliable and comfortable ride without breaking the bank, the VIXA 250 is a viable option.
Fuel efficiency information
The mileage of the Krisaki VIXA 250 is a crucial factor for potential buyers, especially in India where fuel efficiency is a significant consideration. The bike is expected to deliver around 35-40 kmpl in city conditions and up to 45 kmpl on the highway, depending on riding habits and road conditions. This mileage is respectable for a 250cc motorcycle, making it a practical choice for daily commuting and occasional long rides. However, actual mileage may vary based on how the bike is maintained and ridden.

- Vehicle Overview
- Krisaki Vixa 250 is another quarter liter machine from the Indian brand. It carries a design that is partially influenced from Yamaha R series motorcycles. The 250cc, air cooled engine on the motorcycle is good for 16.1 BHP at 7500 rpm and 18 Nm at 5500 rpm. It carries a relaxed riding stance with seat height of 780 mm. The same 14 liter fuel tank as SX250 does its duty on the Vixa 250. The motorcycle comes with disc brake for both the wheels and costs INR 1,13,400 in India. The engine performance is quite dissatisfying from the technical figures.

I literally want to smoke what you guys are smoking!
So such low power, and air cooled engine. Are you kidding me??
This bike is awesome. This is a beauty. Better than r15 and rs200. Drawback is that, with all that 250cc comes 16ps ?. It should at least have 20-25ps. Please do some upgrade. If not looks is just amazing. Good job. If the PS gets more, I'll buy one. Just love it ?
just 16 BHP from 250 cc motor ??
