I would like to name it karizma 250R.. hero bikes does magic like old cbz still best in its class and karizma the revolution in 2003.. the karizma 17bhp top speed so said 125kmph did a lot more then that. my karizma rebored and kn filter can do 135-140kmph. Can imagine how far i can take this karizma up with more upgrades in my mind like racing cdi,coil,high leaf cam, big power jet carbs, free flow exhaust, and a rider of 60 kg (am 90kg :D ) am sure it can kick the ass of pulsar rs 200, who claims to be the fastest (funny). Am sure that this machine HX 250 could do more then what been told and i believe this long delay modify some changes in front looks and also boost some more power.. waiting for it to grab it..

Since EBR's major stake is owned by Hero Motor Corp., EBR has become a subsidary of HMC, hence it has all the flexibility to use the technology from EBR, also HMC has set up a well equipped R&D faclity in gurugaon to develop it's indigeneous next generation engines and gear boxes, which were expected to be installed in it's upcoming models. To survive the competition and their #1 position in market, they were following the current strategy of borrowing engines and other technology from their partners to cutdown the time required to launch new models.

Y hero motor crop not making their own engine apart from buying engines from Erik Buell n Honda.... Also this bike is made in Erik Buell factory not in hero.... Tying up... Great.. After Harley Davidson left the erik buell
weight of this bike is so less compare to other 250cc bikes, around 25 kg less...so if the bhp and torque are as stated above, then it will be 2nd fastest, after yamaha...
