Sunday, 20 October 2024 02:29 AM The Hyosung Aquila GV300 S Bobber, although unveiled, is unlikely to be launched in the Indian market. This bike features a 300cc engine, producing 29.64 BHP and 25.60 NM of torque. I think this is a missed opportunity for Indian bike enthusiasts who love the cruiser segment.
Friday, 15 March 2019 12:43 PM DSK Hyosung, the former Indian distributor of Hyosung bikes, had plans to launch the GV 650 Cruiser in India by March 2019, but the launch never materialized. This has left a gap in the market for high-performance cruisers. I believe there is still a strong demand for such bikes in India.
Saturday, 01 September 2018 12:01 AM Hyosung had announced plans to launch a new 250cc cruiser bike in India by September 2018, but there has been no update on this front. The lack of new cruiser models from Hyosung has left fans disappointed. I think Hyosung needs to revisit their India strategy to regain market share.
Friday, 15 June 2018 12:21 PM The Hyosung GT250R Aquila Pro received an ABS update, and bookings were open for a while, but the models popularity waned due to lack of marketing and distribution issues. This update was crucial for safety, but it wasnt enough to boost sales. I believe better marketing could have made a difference.
Sunday, 20 May 2018 05:28 PM Garware Motors, in collaboration with Hyosung, had planned to manufacture 250cc Hyosung bikes in India through a new joint venture. However, this plan has not seen significant progress. This partnership could have been a game-changer for Hyosung in India. I think they should reconsider this strategy.
Monday, 10 April 2017 12:29 PM DSK Hyosung launched a limited edition of the Aquila 250 motorcycles in India, which received positive feedback from enthusiasts. However, the limited edition was not enough to sustain long-term interest. I believe regular updates and new models are necessary to keep the brand relevant.
Monday, 20 February 2017 03:18 AM The Hyosung ST7, another cruiser from the same stable, was reviewed positively for its performance and specifications. However, it failed to gain significant traction in the Indian market. I think the design and features were on point, but marketing was lacking.
Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:51 AM Hyosungs Aquila Pro GV650 was road-tested and reviewed, showcasing its powerful engine and stylish design. Despite the positive reviews, the bike did not gain much popularity in India. I believe the pricing and competition played a significant role in this.
Saturday, 10 December 2016 06:52 AM The Hyosung Aquila 250 was praised for its powerful and stylish design, making it a real cruiser in the Indian market. However, the brands distribution and service network issues hindered its success. I think addressing these issues could help Hyosung regain its foothold.
Tuesday, 10 September 2013 06:06 PM The Hyosung Aquila GV250, a popular cruiser in other markets, was once set to be launched in India in 2013 but never made it to the Indian shores. This bike boasts a 249cc engine with 26.21 BHP and 21.37 NM of torque. It would have been a great addition to the Indian cruiser market.

What is the maintenance cost of Hyosung Aquila GV250?
29 December 2022 06:01
The motorcycle can be counted in some rare ones around the country as nearly zero information about its maintenance and service charges is available anywhere. You can clear all your doubts by calling Hyosung at 1800 209 2324 or by writing them at [email protected]. You can even clear the difference between 250 cc and 650 cc models as both mostly use the same frame and a considerable price difference whereas power increases by many folds.

The performance is very pathetic and price is very high. One should go for Kawasaki Ninja 300 instead.

As a Super Bike , there is no super service and if you compare with other bike like Hero has give very affordable service. After warming up engine or after 25-50 km with 75% throttle , if engine will stop ,then restart never can smoothly. I always face with 1st gear. I also complained with my 1st service at BBSR , but no one find out..may be good service engineer not available at BBSr...Very Bad service ...I requesting plz DSK look after that matter on priority basis

Best Features: Looks & mileage

Pros: I owned that bike on 03-03-2016 from BBSR, with lots of excitement...Vehicle looks is ok and mileage is very good if you compare with other.

Cons: Very Bad Service and nill performance

Classic cruiser

It has been almost a decade when the Hyosung Aquila 250 was introduced in India. It's first version was launched in 2003. I am riding this bike from last one year. It is an amazing bike with real cruiser feel. It has front disc brakes but, on the rear side it lacks disc brakes which is little disappointing. Apart from that it gives good performance as its engine is very powerful. At low speeds Aquila returns 33.2kmpl on the highway and 28.7kmpl in the city giving it an overall figure of 29.8kmpl – a fair figure for a 250cc twin. It has limited service outlets so, I face problem while going for service sessions.

Best Features: Powerful engine and smooth running

Pros: Classic Looks, Strong build quality, Comfortable

Cons: Lack of 6 speed Transmission, Absence of Rear Disc Brake, Limited service network

Most Powerful Cruiser

I loved to ride cruiser bikes. I was looking for a bike which was amazing in style, looks, design, performance etc. simply called a perfect combination of all modern features. When I got Hyosung GV650 Aquila Pro a year back, I was on cloud nine. It is a great combination of classy robust look. Its engine is based on the Suzuki’s SV650 engine and achieved top speed of 195 kmph. A certain vibrations are felt in the higher rev. In terms of looks and style it will give you complete satisfaction for your buck. The Hyosung GV650 Aquilla Pro surprised me with its ability to move around the traffic in the busy traffic hours when roads are full of vehicles in a city like Mumbai Or Delhi. If I talking about sitting posture, rider needs to stretch their legs completely to reach the gear sifter and the rear back pedal. As I am 6 feet tall so, I really feel sitting home at this bike. Braking system is also very good. The 300 mm twin discs on the front side are hold with twin-piston calipers that are feel like as though they are four-piston units. The company has limited service outlets in India due to this I faced problems while go for servicing.

Best Features: Style and design

Pros: Powerful Engine, Value For Money, Comfort, Stylish

Cons: Vibrations, Lack of 6th Gear, Limited Sales and service outlets

I Simply Loved the Looks..

I have been riding Pulsar since I was 18 years old and still continue to do so at 27 years. But from the last one year Hyosung GV650 Aquila Pro became my new companion. Yeah, when I compare it with my Pulsar - it felt extremely awkward. The Aquila is very well designed machine that supports a good riding position and amazing style. Its look is the main factor which make it different from other cruisers. It allows me good stability and comfort at even 80 speed with no vibrations. But,I get small vibrations between 80-100 kmph. As I m living in Kolkata, I have to be patience in the terms of speed. I never crossed 110 yet. It delivers me 13km/h average on city roads which I don't bother much. Sorry, I forgot to mention that it is huge and heavy, thus handling requires good stamina. Overall, a good bike for fun ride. The only problem of this bike lies in ground clearance as its bottom hits speed breakers sometime.
