Our take on this /// Verdict
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 is a motorcycle that seamlessly blends style, performance, and practicality, making it a compelling choice for riders in India. My experience with this bike has been nothing short of exhilarating, with its potent 799cc parallel-twin engine delivering 105 horsepower and 64.2 lb-ft of torque. The engines smooth fueling and the Bosch EMS-controlled DellOrto throttle bodies ensure a responsive and manageable power delivery, suitable for a broad range of riding skills. The bikes handling is nimble and confident, thanks to the WP steering damper and the Pirelli MT 60 RS tires, although these tires may not be optimal in wet or low-traction conditions. The braking system, with J.Juan brakes and steel-braided hydraulic lines, provides progressive and reliable stopping power. While it lacks wind protection and has limited rearview mirrors, the natural ergonomics and comfortable seating make it a joy to ride all day. Overall, the Svartpilen 801 is a versatile motorcycle that can handle both urban commuting and spirited backroad rides with ease.

Design and Styling Updates
The Svartpilen 801 retains its street-tracker look but with some notable design updates. It features a round LED headlight with angel eye DRL, angular tank extensions, and minimalistic panels. However, some critics feel the design is less distinct from its Vitpilen sibling compared to previous models. I think the design still captures the essence of Husqvarnas unique styling, even if its not as radical as before.

The mileage of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 in India can vary significantly based on riding conditions and styles. Given its 799cc engine and the nature of its performance-oriented design, the fuel efficiency is not its strongest suit. On average, you can expect around 20-25 kml in mixed riding conditions, with this figure dropping to around 15-20 kml during aggressive or high-speed riding. However, for those who prioritize performance and the thrill of the ride, the mileage may be a secondary concern. Its also worth noting that the 3.7-gallon fuel tank provides a decent range, allowing you to enjoy longer rides without frequent fuel stops.
