Honda Navi Off-Road
About
The Honda Navi is a distinctive vehicle that blends elements of both motorcycles and scooters. It features a 109cc engine and an automatic transmission, making it easy to ride, especially for those new to two-wheelers. The Navis ergonomics provide a comfortable riding position, similar to a scooter, but with the added control of having your legs on either side like a motorcycle. It is lightweight, has a short wheelbase, and is extremely agile, making it perfect for navigating through city traffic. While it lacks the practicality of scooters, such as underseat storage, its fun factor and efficiency make it a compelling option for urban riders. The Navis unique design also attracts attention, making it a standout in any parking lot. Overall, it is a fun, practical, and efficient vehicle ideal for city commuting.

Honda Navi Off-Road: Pros & Cons

- Still a Concept
Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda Navi is a unique and intriguing vehicle that defies traditional categorization as either a motorcycle or a scooter. In my experience, it excels in urban riding, offering a fun and confident ride through congested city roads. Its lightweight and short wheelbase make it highly maneuverable, and the automatic transmission simplifies the learning curve for new riders. However, the small 3.5-litre fuel tank and stiff suspension are notable drawbacks, particularly for longer trips or rough road conditions. Despite these limitations, the Navis comfort, efficiency, and quirky charm make it an excellent choice for those seeking a practical and enjoyable city commuter.
Price
In India, the Honda Navi is priced competitively, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. When I last checked, the ex-showroom price for the Honda Navi was around Rs 49,000. However, the on-road price, which includes additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, can vary by location but generally falls in the range of Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000. This pricing positions the Navi as a value-for-money option, especially considering its fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs.
