Not Satisfied with the Bike

Summary

I am using Xtreme 150 from 2 years. Its engine is smooth and it returns adequate torque on city roads. Riding experience is good but it annoys me when it rains outside.

I am using Xtreme 150 from 2 years. Its engine is smooth and it returns adequate torque on city roads. Riding experience is good but it annoys me when it rains outside. My back covered with mud when I rode for 70 kmph in rain. Its headlight and horn is worst, even the Honda Activa wear more powerful horn and light. Overall, I am not satisfied with this machine. If would recommend Suzuki Gixxer over this bike.

Mid-Range Performance Bike

Summary

Well, if you love Hero's design, reliability, fuss-free ownership and value for money proposition there are no doubts. Priced at Rs. 1200/- less than the CB Trigger

Well, if you love Hero's design, reliability, fuss-free ownership and value for money proposition there are no doubts. Priced at Rs. 1200/- less than the CB Trigger and at least Rs. 3500/- less than the FZ-S for the drum variant, it is value considering it has more goodies, engine has more more power and of course let's not forget, if you find it attractive than there is no stopping you. Seats are the best attractive factor in Xtreme. Mileage was reported to be 45 kmpl. It is OK for me. Mileage is not a major concern. We have to sacrifice something to get a better thing.

Vehicle Overview: Hero Xtreme was a lesser sporty version of the currently on sale Xtreme Sports from the company's lineup. It came with a 149.2cc, air cooled engine producing 14.2 BHP and 12.8 Nm of torque. It claimed a top speed of 114 kmph and came with slight amount amount of fairing around the headlamp. The seat was no divided while it still retained the option of single as well as double disc brake. Only problem is the vibration of bike in 60 to 70 kmph zone. After 70 kmph it feels like bike is running on air.......very smooth.....but after 50 kmph too much vibration.

How about making scooty with 150cc and above cc engines.sounds not only good but very nice because scooty gives very much pleasure like car during driving. It is easy to cross 50kmph with pleasing/pleasureble comfort.there is no back pain problem because both legs are in touching suitable for long drives like cars.surely it will success like present cc riding problamatics for 40 and above ages due to back pains arise by seating.I hope mfrs surely comup for this test.

i own cbz extreme.. 27days old..coverd 1300kms.. had done 1st servicing at 500kms... nw my bike giving a mileage of 52kmpl approx.
having some vibrations after crossing 80km per hr..
i had done a top speed of 105kmph..

i bought cbz xtreme on oct 2012. its awesome bike to ride. i usually go with the speed of 35-45 i got a mileage of 68km p/ltr. this byk givvery coes avg mileage of 55 sure if u drive with speed of 60-70. comfortable to drive.wen compare to other 150cc this is xtreamly good, i love this byk.
