Hero Karizma ZMR V2
Hero Variant
General information and overview
The Hero Karizma ZMR V2 is a sports-tourer motorcycle that features a 223 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and an oil cooler. It produces 20 BHP at 8000 rpm and 19.7 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is known for its comfortable riding stance, with a seat height of 810 mm and ground clearance of 145 mm. It boasts twin disc brakes for enhanced braking performance and comes with a 15.3-liter fuel tank. The Karizma ZMR V2 is designed for comfort, with features like dual shock absorbers and a fairing that enhances stability at high speeds. While it may lack the aggressive styling and high-performance capabilities of some other bikes, it is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and comfortable touring motorcycle.
Expert opinion and recommendation
The Hero Karizma ZMR V2 is a motorcycle that excels in comfort and touring capabilities, but it has its limitations. It is not designed for racing or high-speed maneuvers, as evident from its top speed of around 129 kmph and the lack of aggressive power delivery. However, it shines in its ability to provide a comfortable riding experience, thanks to its well-cushioned seats, dual shock absorbers, and moderately upright ergonomics. The bikes fuel injection system and oil-cooled engine ensure smooth performance and decent mileage. While it may not appeal to seasoned riders looking for high-performance bikes, it is an excellent choice for those who prioritize comfort and reliability for long-distance rides.

karizma new models had been failed because of theire unsuitability for normal riders. It was wrong idea of hero that such sporty bikes would boost sales figures in better way than old models.
karizma new is not suitable for 90% of normal drivers .because of that these sale figures have been fell is at closing stage.hero has become week after separated from honda in high cc guys dont keep expectactions on hero and go far other bikes .bajaz is giving good bikes at reasonable prices.
I own a zmr, and I must say I'm in love... Sure, it's not as fast as the cbr250 or a KTM. But I had the choice between the Duke, rc and zmr, and I chose it... It's very reliable, delivers great mileage and performance. The seating position is very comfortable and a bit aggressive at the same time. It's got a beautiful mid range acceleration. In fact, it could easily take on and beat any bike under 1.5 lakhs. But there are a few issues as well... The light is definitely very weak, and there is quite a bit of vibrations at higher rpms... And the soft suspension setup means its not chuckable into the corners as an rc... But great bike nonetheless... But a little extra power would have done no harm...
I suggest to helmet manufactures to provide light preventing pads to helmets for safe driving during night time.I wrote many times to provide lights at right side and back side of all 2 to 4 wheel vehicles to enlight the road at night when crossing.
Still using old OHC engine
Shud go with DOHC to have more better performance
Just raise the handle for Karizma R and make it sutable for long travels and see sales graph.New bike styling is very good but driving handle is worst since the driver(INDIANS) has to bend forward to hold the handle .And improve the remarks which are abserved by its buyers.Old is best
Dumb looks ...
anyway Pulsar 200RS and KTM RC200 Stole the show already
Having 20 Bhp &19.7nm torque this by can't cross speed of 135.
It's better to buy p180,apache180 ,r15 & p220 can beat this shit in 4th gear.
OMG so ugly, so outdated, their R&D needs drastic transformation....looks might be subjective, but who cares if its shared by only a few people
bajaj is succeeded in attracting the immature urban juveniles in india with some cheap gimmicks on their plastic junks. Their so called great modern technology were never helped the ultimate user/customer. if their tech were so great, they would have been the undisputed no1 t/w company in india. only media hype.
