Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Ignitor 125 Kick Drum Alloy is a solid contender in the 125cc commuter bike segment in India. Released shortly after Hero MotoCorps separation from Honda, this bike is essentially a rebranded and slightly tweaked version of the Honda Stunner. While it may not bring anything substantially new to the table, it excels in its comfort and handling, making it a great option for daily commuting. The bikes sporty appearance, combined with its reliable and refined 124.7cc engine, makes it appealing to those looking for a stylish yet practical ride. The inclusion of features like an Integrated Braking System (IBS) and tubeless tyres enhances safety and convenience. However, the lack of an anti-lock braking system (ABS) might be a drawback for some. Overall, its a reliable, comfortable, and fuel-efficient bike that is well-suited for Indias urban riding conditions.
Price
The Hero Ignitor 125 Kick Drum Alloy is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the drum brake variant is around Rs 58,200, while the disc brake variant costs approximately Rs 60,200. On-road prices, including taxes and other charges, would typically range from Rs 65,000 to Rs 70,000, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes the Ignitor an attractive option for those seeking a reliable and feature-packed 125cc bike without breaking the bank. The slight premium for the disc brake version is justified by the enhanced braking performance it offers.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 06:20 PM The Hero Ignitor 125 Kick Drum Alloy offers impressive mileage, making it a cost-effective choice for daily commuters. It delivers around 45 kilometres per litre in city traffic and up to 60 kilometres per litre on highways. This fuel efficiency, coupled with its 9-litre fuel tank, ensures that you can cover significant distances without frequent refueling, thereby reducing running costs. This makes the Ignitor an excellent choice for those concerned about mileage and fuel expenses.

The Hero Ignitor is a stylish, semi-faired motorcycle which still grabs attention. The upright seating position and the wide handle makes it a good commuter bike. The tank is well placed and it offers good wind protection even at high speed. It looks like a 'Stunner' and in terms of performance also both are same to some extent but there are differences between them too. It is quite comfortable for rider but not for pillion rider. The seat is designed in such a way that you can hardly manage three persons. The disc brake at the front offers adequate stopping power and rear drum also performs its duty well. The engine is refined and smooth and offers good power and torque value. If we see the bike's comfort and sporty look, its price seems surprising. My friend thought that it is costly when I told him the real price he really appreciated it.

Best Features: Stylish & Sporty

Pros: Comfortable riding position, sport & youthful design, powerful engine, mileage

Cons: Pillion seat

The Hero Ignitor is a reliable commuter bike. It is an easy and comfortable bike to ride on with a small capacity and efficient engine. It offers an upright seating position and spacious pillion seat. The pillion comes with a grab holder and the seats quality is also excellent. Its engine is smooth and refined. Its pickup is fast and it a good bike for stress free ride. The mileage it returns is also excellent at 55-60 km/l depending on the driving style of rider. Look-wise, it is also impressive and can stand out in the crowd of commuter bikes. Overall, it is perfect from all aspects. If I have to suggest the seekers, I would strongly recommend this commuter bike over other like Honda Stunner or Splendor. Its a reliable yet stylish motorcycle one can own.

WHAT TO SAY ABOUT IT.?? ITS A CRISPY SPORTY BABY, WITH MUSCLES AND HIGH SPIRITS. THE FOLKS WILL FALL IN LOVE FOR ITS LOOKS. THE ONLY THING THAT DISAPPOINTS IS THE CITY MILEAGE. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT MORE ECONOMIC. OVERALL ITS A COOL DUDE!

Best Features: THE FRONT COWL, THE MUSCULAR PETROL TANK, THE SPORTY HEADLIGHTS AND THE METER CONSOLES

Pros: THE BIKE IS AWESOME COMING TO ITS STYLISH LOOKS. ALSO THE METER CONSOLES ARE THE MASTER STROKES

Cons: I WISH YOU WENT A FEW KILOMETERS MORE PER LITRE, IN CITY
