USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Ignitor 125 Self Disc Alloy is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and stylish commuter bike in India. With its 124.7cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine producing 10.9 bhp and 11 Nm of torque, it offers a balanced blend of power and efficiency. The bikes sporty design, inspired by the Honda CBF Stunner, and its digital-analogue instrument console add to its appeal. The front disc brake and rear drum brake provide adequate stopping power, while the telescopic forks and hydraulic shock absorbers ensure a comfortable ride. User reviews highlight its excellent mileage, low maintenance costs, and smooth gear shifts, making it an excellent option for daily commuters. However, its worth noting that Hero MotoCorp has discontinued this model, so buyers might need to look into the used bike market or consider other similar models.
Price
The Hero Ignitor 125 Self Disc Alloy, when it was available, was priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price ranged from Rs. 60,200 for the disc brake variant to Rs. 58,200 for the drum brake variant. On-road prices, including taxes and other charges, would typically be around Rs. 62,147 to Rs. 64,252, depending on the state and local taxes. While the bike is no longer in production, these prices give an idea of its value in the used bike market. MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW
Vehicle Overview Hero Ignitor is a Honda Stunner inspired model in the Hero MotoCorp lineup. It comes with a 124.7cc, air cooled engine producing 10.9 BHP and 11 Nm of torque. The motorcycle weighs 129 kg and claims a top speed of 102 kmph. Ignitor is priced at INR 63,355 and rivals just Honda CB Shine in its engine segment. Not just that, adding just INR 2000 to its price can buy you a Bajaj V150, which is in turn a 150cc premium commuter motorcycle. It has low sales and Hero may discontinue the same due to royalty issues with Honda.

A Nice Machine With Stunning Looks

The Hero Ignitor is a stylish, semi-faired motorcycle which still grabs attention. The upright seating position and the wide handle makes it a good commuter bike. The tank is well placed and it offers good wind protection even at high speed. It looks like a 'Stunner' and in terms of performance also both are same to some extent but there are differences between them too. It is quite comfortable for rider but not for pillion rider. The seat is designed in such a way that you can hardly manage three persons. The disc brake at the front offers adequate stopping power and rear drum also performs its duty well. The engine is refined and smooth and offers good power and torque value. If we see the bike's comfort and sporty look, its price seems surprising. My friend thought that it is costly when I told him the real price he really appreciated it.

Best Features: Stylish & Sporty

Pros: Comfortable riding position, sport & youthful design, powerful engine, mileage

Cons: Pillion seat

The Hero Ignitor is a reliable commuter bike. It is an easy and comfortable bike to ride on with a small capacity and efficient engine. It offers an upright seating position and spacious pillion seat. The pillion comes with a grab holder and the seats quality is also excellent. Its engine is smooth and refined. Its pickup is fast and it a good bike for stress free ride. The mileage it returns is also excellent at 55-60 km/l depending on the driving style of rider. Look-wise, it is also impressive and can stand out in the crowd of commuter bikes. Overall, it is perfect from all aspects. If I have to suggest the seekers, I would strongly recommend this commuter bike over other like Honda Stunner or Splendor. Its a reliable yet stylish motorcycle one can own.

WHAT TO SAY ABOUT IT.?? ITS A CRISPY SPORTY BABY, WITH MUSCLES AND HIGH SPIRITS. THE FOLKS WILL FALL IN LOVE FOR ITS LOOKS. THE ONLY THING THAT DISAPPOINTS IS THE CITY MILEAGE. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT MORE ECONOMIC. OVERALL ITS A COOL DUDE!

Best Features: THE FRONT COWL, THE MUSCULAR PETROL TANK, THE SPORTY HEADLIGHTS AND THE METER CONSOLES

Pros: THE BIKE IS AWESOME COMING TO ITS STYLISH LOOKS. ALSO THE METER CONSOLES ARE THE MASTER STROKES

Cons: I WISH YOU WENT A FEW KILOMETERS MORE PER LITRE, IN CITY
