Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Pleasure Plus is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable, lightweight, and feature-rich scooter, particularly targeting female riders and beginners. It boasts a 110.9cc BS6 engine, producing 8 bhp and 8.7 Nm of torque, which provides a peppy performance and good throttle response. The scooters design has been refreshed with a more retro look, featuring a larger headlamp and smooth flowing lines. While it has its cons, such as vibration at higher speeds and less floorboard space, the overall package is well-balanced. The addition of features like a boot light, mobile charging, and a side stand indicator enhances its usability. However, the suspension could be better, and the brakes, though adequate, feel a bit numb. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Hero Pleasure Plus offers strong value for money, making it a great option for daily commuting.
Price
The Hero Pleasure Plus is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price starts at around Rs. 74,958 for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 80,435 for the top variant. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, would typically range from Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 95,000, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes the Pleasure Plus an attractive option for those seeking a budget-friendly scooter with good features and performance. The price difference between variants is mainly due to the addition of features like alloy wheels and the Xtec trim, which includes an LED projector headlamp and Bluetooth connectivity.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 10:22 PM When it comes to mileage, the Hero Pleasure Plus is quite efficient. It claims a mileage of around 50-53 kmpl, which is commendable for a 110cc scooter. In real-world conditions, users have reported mileage figures close to these claims, making it a cost-effective option for daily commuting. This fuel efficiency, combined with its low maintenance costs, makes the Pleasure Plus an economical choice for those concerned about running costs.
