When the new Harley Davidson Nightster was unveiled last year, I exhaled deeply because H-D hadn't abandoned history and a more than 50-year legacy for a liquid-cooled V twin. The Nightster features a classic cruiser styling with modern elements like a TFT dash on the Special model, and it is powered by the Revolution Max 975 engine, producing 91 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque. The bike also includes rider aids such as ABS, traction control, and Harley’s Drag-Torque Slip Control System. I believe this blend of heritage looks and modern technology makes the Nightster a compelling option for a wide range of riders.

There are now three models in Harley's most widely available range of motorcycles in India: the Nightster, Nightster Special, and Sportster S. At Rs 17.49 lakh, the 2023 Nightster is now the bike in the American manufacturer's lineup that is most reasonably priced. The Nightster still has the same mechanical design as the previous model for 2023, but it no longer has a front cowl.
 

Harley-Davidsons decision to revamp the Sportster line with the Nightster and Nightster Special reflects the companys shift towards meeting stricter emissions regulations and appealing to a new generation of riders. The Nightster models incorporate the Revolution Max powerplant, which is more environmentally friendly and performance-oriented.
