USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The BMW K1300S is a powerhouse of a motorcycle that embodies the perfect blend of performance, comfort, and technology. With its 1293cc in-line four-cylinder engine producing 170bhp and 140Nm of torque, this bike is a blisteringly fast machine that can accelerate from 0-100 kph in under 4 seconds. The engines wide and smooth torque spread makes it effortless to ride, whether youre cruising on the highway or navigating urban traffic. The braking system, featuring dual 320mm front discs and ABS, is phenomenal and provides immense confidence. The Duolever front suspension and ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustability) ensure stability and comfort across various road conditions. While the bike may feel heavier at low speeds, its overall handling and ergonomics are spot-on, making it an excellent choice for long-distance touring. However, the plush seat can become tiring on long stints, and the horn could be more assertive for Indian roads. Overall, the K1300S is a hyper-tourer par excellence, ideal for those who crave both speed and comfort.
Price
In India, the BMW K1300S comes with a significant price tag, reflecting its premium features and performance. The ex-showroom price for the BMW K1300S starts at around 25.09 lakh, although this can vary slightly depending on the region and any additional features or accessories chosen. When you factor in on-road costs such as registration, insurance, and other taxes, the price can escalate to approximately 30-32 lakh. While this is certainly on the higher side, the K1300S offers a unique combination of power, technology, and comfort that justifies the investment for serious motorcycle enthusiasts.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 06:35 PM The mileage of the BMW K1300S is a crucial consideration for potential buyers. According to the ARAI certification, the K1300S offers a mileage of about 19 kmpl, although real-world figures can vary based on riding conditions and style. Given its powerful engine and the need for premium 95 octane or higher fuel, running costs will be higher compared to smaller bikes. However, for those who prioritize performance and long-distance touring capabilities, the mileage is relatively acceptable.

Great bike for those who are looking for an aggressive and powerful ride

The BMW K 1300R is a great bike for those who are looking for an aggressive and powerful ride. With its 0-100km/h time of 2.9 seconds and 0-200km/h time of 7.9 seconds, it's no surprise that this bike is a force to be reckoned with. The optional gearshift assistant is a great addition, as it cuts the engine momentarily when a shift is completed. This is a great feature that helps to make the shifting smooth and seamless.

The squat of the rear suspension helps to keep the front wheel down to a manageable level and contributes to the bike's incredible acceleration. Overall, the BMW K 1300R is an outstanding bike that is sure to please any rider looking for a powerful, aggressive ride.

The BMW K1300R is a true muscle bike that stands out from the rest of the street bikes in its class. With its 1293cc engine and 173 BHP at 9250 rpm, it's no wonder why this bike is so popular amongst riders. The adjustable seat height between 790-820 mm makes it suitable for different riders, and its top speed of 266 kmph is impressive. The bike is fast, with a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of just 2.81 seconds. The cost of this bike in India is INR 25.09 lakh, making it one of the most expensive street bikes in its class.

The K1300R is a great choice for riders who want a powerful street bike with excellent performance. The close gearing and broad power delivery make it perfect for quick acceleration, and the Racing Red and Sapphire Black shades are sure to turn heads. With its impressive speed, power, and price tag, the K1300R is a great choice for serious riders.

Definitely a great choice if you are looking for a super bike

Nirati Srivastava | 2 years ago

BMW K 1300R is definitely a great choice if you are looking for a super bike. It is equipped with a powerful engine that gives it a powerful roar on the road. If you are looking for a good mileage, then you may be disappointed as it does consume more fuel than normal bikes. However, it is comfortable to ride, thanks to the shock absorbers. It is a bit heavier and may be hard to handle for some.

But it has a strong grip on the road. In terms of looks, it has a classy and sleek look that will make heads turn. If you have a heavy pocket, then go ahead and buy it. Make sure to rate it, if you like it.
