This system adds a SOS button, loudspeaker, and microphone to the handlebar controls. The bike also boasts a 1254cc twin-cylinder boxer engine delivering 136 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. I think this emergency call feature is a significant safety enhancement.

Despite this, the R 1250 RT remains a powerful option with 136 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and features like adaptive cruise control and Dynamic Brake Control. I believe the current model still offers plenty of value for those who dont need the extra horsepower of the upcoming R1300.
