Friday, 15 November 2024 01:08 PM Bajaj has stopped producing new units of the Bajaj XCD as of now. This decision marks the end of an era for a bike that was known for its commuter-friendly features and robust engine. I think this move might be part of Bajajs strategy to focus on newer models.
Sunday, 20 October 2024 10:02 AM The Bajaj XCD 135 comes with an air-cooled, 4-stroke, DTSSi engine, producing 10.2 PS at 7500 rpm and 11.58 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. This engine ensures good power, acceleration, and fuel efficiency, making it a reliable choice for daily commuting. I believe the performance metrics of the XCD 135 are quite impressive for its class.
Wednesday, 25 September 2024 02:07 PM The Bajaj XCD features a distinctive fuel tank design and an eye-catching front cowl. The bike has a flat and cushioned seat, ensuring comfort for two riders, along with a rear grab rail for passenger safety. The rear fender is sharp and sporty, adding to the bikes overall aesthetic. I think the design elements make the XCD stand out in the commuter segment.
Friday, 30 August 2024 03:05 PM The Bajaj XCD 135 boasts a front telescopic fork with 130mm of wheel travel and nitrox gas suspension at the rear. The braking system includes disc brakes at the front, ensuring sensitive and effective braking. This combination enhances the bikes comfort and stability. I believe the suspension and braking system are well-tuned for Indian road conditions.
Saturday, 20 July 2024 08:05 AM The Bajaj XCD is known for its impressive mileage, with claimed fuel efficiency above 100 kmpl, although real-world city mileage is around 65 kmpl. This makes it a fuel-efficient option for daily commuters. I think the mileage is a significant selling point for this bike.
Saturday, 15 June 2024 02:31 PM Despite its strong features, the Bajaj XCD has some drawbacks, such as not being comfortable for taller riders and having a small fuel tank and wheelbase. However, it remains a popular choice for its class-leading features and performance. I believe these limitations might affect its appeal to a broader audience.
Friday, 10 May 2024 04:47 PM The Bajaj XCD comes equipped with an LCD instrument panel that displays necessary indications, helping riders stay informed while on the move. This feature adds to the bikes modern and user-friendly design. I think the LCD panel is a nice touch for a commuter bike.
Saturday, 20 April 2024 06:28 PM The Bajaj XCD is available in two models: the 125cc and the 135cc. The higher-end 135cc model includes additional features like a full-sized heat shield and an extra mudguard over the rear tire. I believe these variants cater to different user preferences and needs.
Monday, 25 March 2024 01:51 PM The Bajaj XCD includes safety features such as footpegs, footrests, and a rear grab rail to ensure firm sitting and safety for both riders. These features are particularly useful for passenger safety. I think these safety features are essential for a commuter bike.
Thursday, 15 February 2024 03:19 AM The Bajaj XCD has been positioned as a commuter bike with class-leading features, promising a super cool look and continuous performance. However, with the halt in production, its market position is now uncertain. I believe this could open up opportunities for other models to fill the gap.

Is there any exchange offer for Bajaj XCD 135 year 2009 84000km driven?
29 December 2022 06:09
The exchange offers are given only at several occasions while dealerships are mostly willing to provide the best possible price for the used two wheeler when a new one is to be bought. You can visit the Bajaj dealership near to your location and see if they are offering some discount on the exchange of your motorcycle. You can visit multiple showrooms as it is possible that one won't offer a good price but the other one makes your day.
Can I exchange my 2009 Bajaj XCD 135 for a new one?
29 December 2022 06:08
You cannot exchange your 2009 Bajaj XCD 135 for a new one as the XCD has been discontinued from a long time in the Indian market. You can exchange the same for the new Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS, which produces 13.56 PS and 11.4 Nm of torque from its 135 cc DTS-i engine. It weighs just 121 kg and comes with an attractive price tag of INR 58,000. It comes in attractive shades of Black, Plasma Blue and Cocktail Wine Red.
What should be the price of 2007 model of Bajaj XCD 125?
29 December 2022 05:57
The correct price for the 2007 XCD 125 would be INR 16,000-18,000. The variation can be seen with the odometer reading and accidental history. The bike comes with a 124.58 cc, 1-cylinder engine producing 9.4 BHP and 10.85 NM of torque. It gets a 4-speed gearbox and comes with a ground clearance of 170 mm. The fuel tank for the bike is 8 liters and it returns a 70 kmpl mileage. The top speed has been rated 90 kmph and the bikes gets drum brakes for both the wheels. You can check its engine working and electric functions before buying or consult a mechanic for the same.
Is there some problem with the rear shocker of Bajaj XCD?
29 December 2022 05:53
The Bajaj XCD has been discontinued a long time back and you would have to buy a used XCD, which would definitely have certain amount of errors in its parts. The rear shocker problem occurs in most of the bikes as dirt keeps on getting deposited on the shockers, making them lesser efficient in few years. the problem can be solved easily by refilling the shocker and applying new seals onto it. The major point of worry on a motorcycle is its engine as everything else can be easily replaced but the engine creates issues like lesser efficiency and power generation. You should get a XCD checked thoroughly before buying and it is even advised to get it checked once from an experienced mechanic. You have option between various engines ike 125 cc and 135 cc on the XCD.
What should we do to increase mileage of Bajaj XCD 135 & what is the cost of new meter of same?
29 December 2022 05:53
The Bajaj XCD 135 when driven between the speed of 45-55 kmph returns the best mileage and I personally have obtained much higher figures in the past. You should check the level of engine oil in the bike and even consult a mechanic as consuming engine oil points to the direction of engine seizing problem in the future. You should also get your air filter cleaned after every 3,000 km as it gets stuck with a lot of dirt due to our Indian weather conditions. You should get your carburettor tuned to a better efficiency level as wrong tuning increases fuel consumption. You will definitely receive a mixed mileage figure close to 60 kmpl if you follow these 3 steps and get it checked from an experienced mechanic or authorized Bajaj service center. The new meter can also be bought from the same sources and you can inquire about its cost from the concerned personnel at the service center.
