The Bajaj Platina 125 has been discontinued by the company. It came with a better 5-speed gearbox than the normal 4-speed on the other Platina models. The currently selling ES model comes with a 4-speed transmission and a 102 cc engine. It produces 8 BHP and 8.7 NM of torque. The bike is an excellent option due to its lightweight body and 96.9 kmpl of claimed fuel mileage. This makes it good for 700 km long stretch on a single refill and its 190 mm of ground clearance for better ride on bad roads. It comes with a price tag of INR 44,547.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i is a better option if mileage is not your first priority. The 150 cc Pulsar is excellent machine with a max output of 14.9 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 12.5 NM @ 6,500 rpm. It provides a relaxed ride on the city roads and easily cruise at 60-70 kmph on the highways. The bike gets a top speed of 115 kmph and gets a relaxed 785 mm of seat height. Price of the same is INR 70,757 and newer version of Pulsar 150 DTS-i comes in dual tone shades. It returns a mileage of 40-50 kmpl.

The Bajaj Platina ES is a better option as it comes with more reliability then the company's own Discover 100M. The Platina comes with a 102 cc, DTS-i engine producing 8 BHP and 8.7 NM of torque. The bike comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox and brings the most out of a liter of fuel, with 96.9 kmpl mileage. The bike comes with electric start and serves all the functions responsibly. With 11.5 liter fuel tank, it can easily go for a 700+ km stretch. With 90 kmph of top speed, it is equally good for the highways also. You can have the bike for INR 44,500 and it comes in attractive shades also.

I have Bajaj Platina ES100 Comfertec 2017 model. Best in daily commuter bike and my bike mileage is 90-95 KMPL and Top speed is 90 kmph. I give 5 star rating to Bajaj Platina 100ES.

Mileage is not good in new version 2021 like 55 kmph approximate. I really disappointed with this my older Bajaj Platina gives 80 kmph.

I bought this bike from 1 month ago. It's mileage is good. It's suspension is very nice. It's seat is soft but it is narrow for rider. It's sitting position is not good as compare to TVS star city plus and Honda CB Shine. Old Platina kick start bike is good for sitting position.
