Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

  • What is the Price of Bajaj Platina 100?
    29 Jul, 2013 | By Maxabout Team

Bajaj Platina 100 is available at an affordable price of Rs.37,000.

The bike gets a slimmer body but it doesn't get a standout design. Bajaj Platina 100 comes equipped with a 99.27 cc engine which delivers a max power of 8.3 PS at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at the rate of mere 4500 rpm. When it comes to acceleration, it gets to 60 in just 9.68 seconds and has a great top speed of 87 km/h. It offers an astounding fuel economy of 65 km/l on the city roads and few units more on a long highway route.

The bike is relatively comfortable and like its competitors, it too has a little storage space. The front and rear drum brakes are effective but not as much as disc brakes. It is made available in Black, Red and Black  Maroon shades. There's only one variant and its elder kin Platina 1256 has been discontinued long ago. Overall, the performance and acceleration is praiseworthy.
