Fuel efficiency information
The mileage of the Bajaj Platina 110 is a significant selling point, especially for daily commuters who prioritize fuel efficiency. While some users might expect mileage in the range of 80-90 kmpl, the actual mileage for the 110cc variant averages around 50-60 kmpl, according to various user reviews. However, some riders have reported mileage of nearly 70 kmpl, which is still commendable in its segment. The decrease in mileage compared to the 100cc version is due to the increased power output, but it remains one of the most fuel-efficient options in the 110cc category. The Bajaj Platina was initially launched as a 100cc bike in the country in 2006 and witnessed a huge success in the market. This commuter bike became immensely popular thanks to its design and build quality. Later, the manufacturer introduced the Platina 110 to the market. Thanks to its rough and tough body, Platina has remained the first choice for daily commuters. Let’s discuss in detail all its specs and features.
Bajaj Platina 110 Design & Style
The Bajaj Platina 110 is a true Platina in terms of design and styling. Finished in a combination of colour schemes, the bike also gets branding embossed in 3D letters on the fuel tank. The front fascia gets LED DRL above the headlight and is designed to offer proper illumination even in low-light areas. The compact mask over the headlight and also around the handles offers not only a stylish look but is also practical. These hand guards protect your hands in severe situations.
This time around, the pillion rest comes as a wide rubber pad for enhanced comfort for the pillion rider. The broad and wide, well-quilted saddle adds to the comfiness of the new Bajaj Platina 110. It makes long journeys more comfortable for both the rider and the pillion. Blacked-out engine casing, Platina branding on the seat and new taillights are some of the other key attractions.
In terms of body dimensions, the bike has an overall length of 2006 mm, an overall width of 741 mm, and a height of 1100 mm with a wheelbase of 1255 mm. The ground clearance of the bike is 200 mm, which helps in easily roaming the Indian roads, and the seat height of the bike is 807 mm. As far as the bike’s weight is concerned, the kerb weight is 119 or 122 kg depending on the variant.
Bajaj Platina 110 Instrument Console
Bajaj has offered the Platina 110 with a really interesting combination of a speedometer and a digital display. This instrument console unit is easily readable and provides information including a clock, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter and gear position indicator for assisting the driver in a better ride. But it also needs to be mentioned here that the digital speedometer option is offered in disc variants only.
Bajaj Platina 110 Engine & Gearbox
Powering the 2024 Bajaj Platina 110 is a 115.45cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, Bajaj-patented DTS-i engine that comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. This transmission helps the bike drive through city traffic with more torque and an extensive speed range. This engine is capable of churning out 8.48 HP at 7000 rpm and 9.81 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The DTS-i technology also helps in generating a good volume of mileage.
Bajaj Platina 110 Brakes, Suspension & Tyres
Braking duties in the new Platina 110 are handled by disc or drum brakes depending on the variant. 130mm Drum or 240mm Disc brakes are provided at the front of the bike and 110mm Drum with CBS at the rear. The suspension chores are assigned to Hydraulic, Telescopic, 135mm travel at the front and SOS with nitrox canister at the rear end. SnS Nitrox suspension absorbs the most intense jerks and provides a smooth ride on bumpy roads. The motorcycle gets 80/100-17, 46P, tubeless tyres at the front and 80/100-17, 53P, tubeless tyres at the rear.
Bajaj Platina 110 Top Speed & Mileage
2024 Bajaj Platina 110 offers a top speed of 90 km/h. As for mileage figures it can offer, the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 85 km/l, however, Bajaj Auto claims that in the real world, the bike may provide a mileage of 70-75 kmpl which is also impressive.

On the other hand, the on-road price in Delhi for this disc variant is Rs 85,244 while the drum variant is Rs 81,030. The price remains the same even for the different colour options.
The ex-showroom price is the vehicle's production cost + dealer/seller profit + GST (Goods and Services Tax) + transportation charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). The On-Road Price, on the other hand, is the real amount you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle roadworthy. It includes the ex-showroom price in your city, as well as RTO charges (vehicle registration), a one-time road tax, and insurance charges.
