USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme is a solid choice for those seeking a balance of comfort, reliability, and performance in the 150cc segment. This bike impresses with its smooth and reliable engine, excellent handling, and comfortable riding position. The digital speedometer and well-placed indicators add to its modern appeal, while the double disc brakes provide confident braking. Although it may not excel in any single aspect, it is a well-rounded bike that offers a hassle-free riding experience. However, it does have some drawbacks, such as hard gear shifting initially and the absence of a kick starter. Overall, it is a great option for riders who prioritize comfort and reliability over raw power.

Hi, I own a CBZ 1999 Dec model. The bike is maintained in excellent condition and upgraded with 3 spoke alloy wheels, CBZ-X head light. The bike has been made lighter by removing saree guard, crash guard chain cover a total of 7KG. The TPFC system has been de-activated as it was gulping fuel. Now my bikes mileage has increased by 20% ie earlier on highway it was giving 55kmpl at 55kmph speed.

Now it gives me about 68kmpl at the same speed mainly because of lighter weight(10%) and removal of TPFC(10%). The bike head light has been modified with X treme light and it has improved considerably. No chance to post a pic. my mail ID [email protected]. I am keeping this vehicle further as it has done only 44000kms for 11yrs and in excellent condition.

I am aengineering student and a mechanic. I like ur idea of old cbz. I presently own four bikes.a old version cbz star, karima, pulsar200, yamaha 135.among these bikes karizma takes first place.the 2004 model cbz star has done 35,000 kms and the bike still achieves a top speed of 115 kms. This is difficult even with pulsar 200. The major advantages is no skids, excellent braking and gives a mileage of 45 when driven at a speed of 75. As a mechanic i recommend the bikes than pulsars and apache.

2. It has a Tachometer which displays the engine rotation speed & the Trip meter which measures the distance traveled in a trip.

3. The Hydraulic Vibration Dampers incorporated in the handlebars ensure that the ride is smooth & easy.

4. The Air Injection System injects fresh air into exhaust port to meet the emission norms.

5. CBZ has Zero Crank Case Evaporative Emission which is an advanced pollution control feature & the first of its kind in India. It keeps the Hero Honda tradition of environment friendly bikes.

6. The Multi Lever Locking Seat provides an anti theft mechanism for the CDI unit, RR unit & battery by allowing the side covers to be opened only after unlocking the seat.

7. CBZ has Adjustable Rear Shock Absorbers which provide extra comfort & can be easily adjusted into 5 positions.

CBZ is available in 5 colors- Tahitian blue, Candy sparkling silver, Tasmania green, Candy blazing red & Black.
