Is the CB150R Streetster a good bike to learn basic motorcycle maintenance?
24 January 2025 10:28
It's a good middle ground, I'd say as a mechanic. It's not so modern that you have to know about fuel injection and ABS to learn how to drive it, but it's modern enough to teach you about fuel injection and ABS, and not so modern that you need special tools to do it. So all you have to do is relax and follow the manual.
How is the CB150R Streetster for wet conditions?
24 January 2025 10:28
So, in the wet I actually prefer the CB150R over my old 250cc bike. It also seems that the narrower tires cut through standing water better. Just make sure you don’t open the throttle too much when coming out of corners.
Does the CB150R Streetster feel comfortable to ride two up?
24 January 2025 10:28
I have no problem taking my girlfriend on rides, and it's fine for short trips around town. The bike handles the extra weight well, but you definitely feel the extra weight. Don't expect to be drag racing anyone though.
Is the Honda CB150R Streetster all it is hyped up to be for urban commuting?
24 January 2025 10:28
I think it depends what your needs are. If you spend most of your time riding in the city, with the occasional short highway stint, it’s great. It is amazingly fuel efficient, nearly 45 km/l in mixed riding. However, if you’re going to be doing a lot of long distance trips, you might want something with more oomph.
What does it do for your street cred in the bike community?
24 January 2025 10:23
Who cares about cred? If it makes you happy and you can afford it, then go for it. You can't waste your life worrying about what other people think.
Could the average rider even take the RC213V-S's performance?
24 January 2025 10:23
In reality, it’s actually designed to be surprisingly manageable. Honda's whole philosophy is making fast bikes that are easy to ride.
Is the RC213V-S a taste of things to come in superbikes or just an expensive novelty?
24 January 2025 10:23
Pure novelty. Bikes are the future, and it's not six-figure race replicas; it's in electrification and accessibility.
Is the Honda RC213V-S really worth its enormous price?
24 January 2025 10:23
Instead, I would rather put that money towards a car. At least I could plug it into my wall daily without needing to worry about it being stolen or crashed.
How does the RC213V S stack up to other 'race replicas' such as the Ducati Superleggera V4?
24 January 2025 10:23
It's apples and oranges. For Ducatisti it's the Superleggera; for Honda fanboys, the RC213V-S. They are both incredible in their own way.
Is Honda’s conservative approach to the QC1 a smart strategy or a missed opportunity in the EV revolution?
24 January 2025 10:15
I think it's brilliant. Instead of alienating their huge customer base with radical changes, they're easing their customer base into EVs.
Is the fixed battery of the Honda QC1 a strategic mistake in the Indian market?
24 January 2025 10:15
Honda’s decision proves that they don’t understand the Indian market. Here, flexibility is the key, and swappable batteries deliver that.
Will the lack of storage space of the Honda QC1 be a deal breaker for prospective buyers?
24 January 2025 10:15
Firstly, I think it will affect sales, but people will get used to it. Do you remember when we believed that smartphones were too big for pockets?
Is the Honda QC1's modest performance destined to fail in the cutthroat Indian EV market?
24 January 2025 10:15
In fact, the modest specs might be a blessing. Better reliability and longer battery life are usually associated with lower performance.
Is the Honda QC1 Electric a game changer or just another overhyped EV?
24 January 2025 10:15
I think it could be a game changer, but not for the reasons that people think. Honda's reliability and its widespread service network will perhaps make EV accessible to the masses who are yet to be briefed.
How easily can you customize the Honda Scoopy to your personal style or practical upgrades?
24 January 2025 10:07
I’ve seen some great custom Scoopys online, but I just don’t want to void the warranty. I really wish Honda would offer more official customization options.
Is the Honda Scoopy nimble in the city traffic compared to other scooters?
24 January 2025 10:07
With its small wheels, the Scoopy is super agile, but the small wheels can be a bit twitchy on uneven roads. I’m willing to make that trade-off for the maneuverability.
Can the Honda Scoopy meet daily urban storage needs?
24 January 2025 10:07
The storage of the Scoopy is exactly what I need on a daily basis. I have no problem fitting my laptop, lunch, and a change of clothes under the seat.
How does the Honda Scoopy’s fuel efficiency compare with that of its rivals in regular use?
24 January 2025 10:07
At first I was disappointed with the fuel efficiency, but after some adjustment to my riding style, I am getting much better results. It’s something you have to get used to.
Is the Honda Scoopy retro a hit or miss?
24 January 2025 10:07
I really like the fact that Honda took a risk with the design. While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s good to see some variety in the scooter market.
How does the Honda SFA 150 inform the ongoing discussion about motorcycle noise in the urban environment?
24 January 2025 10:01
I believe that this design could open the door to some innovative exhaust technology. What if they could tailor the sound to be detectable to nearby vehicles but less obtrusive to the rest of the world?
