What does the VFR1200F's DCT version do to the sport touring experience?
17 January 2025 07:10
I really like that you are able to toggle between auto mode and manual mode. Get the best of both worlds with auto for easy touring and switch to manual when you want to play.
The VFR1200F's fuel range is it a deal breaker for long distance touring?
17 January 2025 07:10
I've done several 500+ mile days on my VFR1200F and the fuel range really isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I know you stop more often, but I view it as an opportunity to stretch and to stay fresh.
How does the VFR1200F weight up in the real world?
17 January 2025 07:10
I don't think the weight complaints are overblown. It is, after all, heavy, but it’s also a sport tourer. What did people expect? What it is, it handles beautifully.
How does the Honda Vision 110 ride in wet conditions?
17 January 2025 07:02
Such a small scooter as the Vision 110 handles wet conditions surprisingly well. The trick is you need to have good tires—I replaced mine with Michelin City Grips, and that made all the difference in the world when it comes to confidence in wet weather.
How can the Honda Vision 110 be customized to fit into personal style and practicality?
17 January 2025 07:02
If you're an owner of the Vision 110, as I have been, I'd say it's moderately customizable. While there aren’t nearly as many aftermarket parts to choose from as with some other scooters, there’s enough to give the scooter your own flair. It’s just that you’re going to have to do some DIY work for the more unique mods.
How does the Honda Vision 110 cope with two-up riding?
17 January 2025 07:02
Two-up riding on the Vision 110 is possible but not ideal. It’s a bit small of a seat for two adults, and the suspension feels a bit overmatched. It’s fine as a stopgap, but if you intend to ride with a passenger regularly, you might want to find something bigger.
Is the Honda Vision 110 tall enough for tall riders?
17 January 2025 07:02
I am 6'4", and the Vision 110 is not the most comfortable scooter I have ever ridden, but it is doable. On longer trips, the key is to adjust your riding position and take breaks. Despite all this, it’s still great for zipping around the city.
How fuel efficient is the Honda Vision 110 as they say it is?
17 January 2025 07:02
Let’s be real here: no vehicle ever reaches the advertised fuel economy in real-world conditions. On that note, the Vision 110 is still one of the most efficient scooters that I’ve ridden. Some people make it out to be a lot more miraculous than it actually is.
So how does the X-ADV Special Edition stack up against other "adventure scooters" on the market?
17 January 2025 06:54
It really can be almost anything. The X-ADV Special Edition is hard to beat if you want something unique that can handle a variety of terrains but is still comfortable in the city. If you’re looking for straight performance in one area, there might be better options.
What’s the difference between the standard and special edition versions of the X-ADV?
17 January 2025 06:54
I'm a DIY enthusiast, and the Special Edition is a challenge for that. Imagine if you could somehow integrate some post-apocalyptic tech into it, like a solar charger or built-in water purification system? Now that would be cool!
Would I use the X-ADV Special Edition for everyday commuting?
17 January 2025 06:54
I think it would make a great commuter as long as it still has the comfort of the standard X-ADV. A big plus, though, is the ability to handle highway speeds as well as city traffic, and the Special Edition just dresses up that solid foundation with a bit more style.
Is the Honda X-ADV Special Edition all it’s cracked up to be?
17 January 2025 06:54
It probably depends on what you are looking for. If you want to pay a premium and are looking for something unique, go for it. If you are more performance-minded, however, you might want to put that extra cash toward upgrades on the regular X-ADV.
What does the X-ADV Special Edition's post-apocalyptic design do to its functionality?
17 January 2025 06:54
I believe the people are overthinking it. That's not to say they rebuilt the bike from scratch. There is still a very solid machine at the core of the X-ADV. It’s not like the special edition takes away anything; it just gives it some cool flair without changing the basics.
Does the XBlade's digital instrument cluster meet the hype?
17 January 2025 06:48
But it’s overkill for a 160cc commuter. I don’t use half the functions, and I’m sick of worrying about the repair costs when it conks out after the warranty.
In long-distance touring, how does the XBlade compare to its competitors?
17 January 2025 06:48
People don't give it credit for things it's capable of. No, it’s not a dedicated tourer, but it’s versatile enough to cope with the odd long ride without too much hassle.
Is the Honda XBlade Double Disc Model worth the extra price over the single-disc variant?
17 January 2025 06:48
If you're mostly commuting, it’s not worth it. Yet if you're the type of person who likes to take your bike on weekends, that rear disc can be a lifesaver through twisty roads.
And how does the XBlade’s LED headlight stack up against other bikes in its class?
17 January 2025 06:48
If you're someone who rides a lot at night, the XBlade's headlight makes an incredible difference compared to what I used to ride. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely above average for the segment.
Does the XBlade’s performance justify the higher price tag as compared to other 160cc bikes?
17 January 2025 06:40
It depends on what you value. For a look that is completely different and smooth performance, it may be worth the extra cost. If you’re on a tight budget, there are cheaper options that are just as good.
Now that Honda has discontinued the XBlade, why did it do so, and will it return?
17 January 2025 06:40
I wouldn't be shocked if it came back as an electric model. Honda has been trying to push into the EV space, and the XBlade's futuristic design is something that would suit an electric powertrain.
Is the Honda XBlade 160 really an underrated motorcycle?
17 January 2025 06:40
I would say it’s underrated, but I would rather say it’s underappreciated. Honda’s marketing has been pretty weak, but it’s a good bike. Perhaps if more people knew what the features were, it'd be more popular.
