How does the Honda Vision 110 cope with two-up riding?
The Honda Vision 110 is often praised for its nimble handling and small size, making it great for solo urban commuting. But many potential buyers and current owners want to know how it performs with a passenger onboard. Riding two up on a scooter can have a large impact on the handling, acceleration, and stability of a scooter, especially on smaller displacement scooters like the Vision 110. Occasional two-up riding works for some riders, but others say the scooter is not happy with the extra weight. As you might imagine, this has sparked conversation about whether or not the Vision 110 suits a couple or someone who needs to carry a passenger often, and other scooters in its class have been compared to the Vision 110 when it comes to passenger comfort and general riding performance when riding two-up.
A couple of times I've taken my girlfriend on the back of my Vision 110, and it's... okay. With two people it definitely feels underpowered, especially on hills. Short trips are fine, but I wouldn’t want to do this regularly.
