And how does the XBlade’s LED headlight stack up against other bikes in its class?

by geeta kumariover 1 year ago0 views10 comments
The Honda XBlade comes with a unique design for the LED headlight. Riders have been a major talking point about this feature, with people having very different opinions on whether it works or looks good. But some say it looks like something from the future and provides better night visibility, while others say it's all style and no substance. This debate often gets carried over to the comparison with other popular 160cc bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS160, too, that use their own lighting setups. Frequently noted by riders when discussing the beam spread, intensity, and overall road illumination is whether they are on a long night ride or in a poorly lit urban area. Potential buyers looking to buy in this crowded segment are also interested in the headlight's performance under different weather conditions, such as fog and rain.

This one is spot on; I think Honda did it. It’s bright enough for city use, and it’s a killer look. You shouldn't expect it to turn night into day on dark highways.

Until it rains, the LED is great. The headlight will be water droplets that create a weird scatter effect that can be distracting.

If you're someone who rides a lot at night, the XBlade's headlight makes an incredible difference compared to what I used to ride. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely above average for the segment.

Overrated, in my opinion. I like a good old projector headlamp rather. Fancy LED XBlade doesn't work as well as it ought to.

It's a mixed bag. The design causes weird shadows sometimes, but the LED is crisp and clear. Takes some getting used to.

I can say that it's pretty good after using it for a year. The yellowish halogens are easier on the eyes during long rides than the white light.

The LED is two-sided. It's great visibility, but it really blinds oncoming traffic. People have flashed me thinking I'm on high beam.

It's decent, but not great. The high beam doesn’t go far enough for comfortable highway riding at night, but the low beam is okay.

I love it! The bike has a premium look to it, and the spread is great for city riding. Better than the halogen setups on most 160 cc bikes, definitely.

The XBlade's LED headlight is good for nothing. It’s cool looking, but my friend’s Apache lights up the road far better.
