Datsun GO Plus T (O)

About
The Datsun GO Plus T (O) is a 7-seater compact MPV that has undergone significant updates to enhance its appeal. It is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 67-76.43 bhp and 104 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox for smooth automatic transmission. The vehicle features a revamped interior with a dual-tone dashboard, a responsive 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and improved safety features like dual airbags and ABS with EBD. The GO Plus T (O) also includes convenient features such as rear charging sockets, parking sensors, and LED DRLs. While the third row is best suited for children, the vehicle offers ample boot space when the seats are folded. Its light steering and high ground clearance make it well-suited for urban driving, although it may lack the refinement and stability at higher speeds. Overall, it is a practical and feature-rich option for families seeking an affordable and spacious vehicle.

USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Datsun GO Plus T (O) is a significant improvement over its predecessors, making it a more compelling option in the entry-level segment. With the introduction of a CVT gearbox, it offers a smoother and more convenient driving experience, especially in urban conditions. The vehicle is well-equipped, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, and rear parking sensors. However, it still has some drawbacks, such as a firm ride quality, lack of low-end torque, and underbody noise insulation issues. Despite these, the GO Plus T (O) is a practical choice for those seeking a spacious and feature-rich vehicle at an affordable price. Its light steering and compact dimensions make it ideal for city driving, although it may not be the best option for highway cruising.
Price
The Datsun GO Plus T (O) CVT is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price starts at around Rs 6.58 lakh, making it one of the most affordable CVT-equipped vehicles available. When considering on-road prices, which include additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other taxes, the total can range from Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing strategy positions the GO Plus T (O) as a strong contender against other automatic transmission vehicles in its segment, offering good value for money with its array of features and practicality.

A Perfect Example of Disaster..

I am riding Datsun Go+ from last four months. It don't have that spark which other SUVs have. I regret my decision now. The good thing about this car is, it cost you less, backward slanted seats and the feel that you own a MUV, that's it. Exterior look is good no doubt but its 3rd row is just useless. My kids felt suffocated while seating there and slopping design of this MUV somehow make 3rd row passenger uncomfortable due to less headroom or uncomfortable seat. On the long distance travel, 3rd row become luggage room and my family fits in first two rows only. Moreover, adjusting the left ORVM is a pain for the driver, there is no adjustment stalks inside. The glass used at rear end appear large from outside but actually its 50% usable only. Even the legroom is just satisfactory at the 2nd row. So I would like to recommend here that don't go for this car because of low cost just expand your budget and buy other SUV.
