Yamaha Ray ZR Disc Brake UBS

It features a V-belt automatic transmission and comes with 10-inch alloy wheels shod in tubeless tyres. The scooter is equipped with a 170mm hydraulic disc brake at the front and a mechanical leading-trailing drum brake at the rear, along with a combined braking system for enhanced safety. It also includes features like Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), side-stand engine cut-off, and a well-engineered suspension assembly consisting of front telescopic forks and rear swing arm with coil spring shock absorbers. The scooters lightweight design and road-hugging tyres make it agile and easy to maneuver in city traffic. Additionally, it offers a spacious 21-litre under-seat storage compartment, making it a practical choice for daily use.
Expert opinion and recommendation
The Yamaha Ray ZR Disc Brake UBS is a well-rounded scooter that offers a blend of style, performance, and practicality. Although it has been discontinued since 2019, its features and performance make it a worthy consideration for those looking for a used scooter. The scooters 113cc air-cooled engine, producing 7.2 PS and 8.1 Nm of torque, provides a smooth and refined ride. The addition of a 170mm hydraulic disc brake at the front enhances braking performance, making it safer and more responsive. However, the stiff suspension can be a bit troublesome on rough roads. Overall, its a great option for city riding, offering good handling and a sporty feel, but it may not be the best choice for those who frequently encounter poor road conditions.

Hi Guyz,
If you are buying Yamaha Ray ZR for its look, then its a point. Otherwise there is nothing better than TVS Jupiter 110 or Honda Activa 3.
It Vibrates seriously when engine is on. The plastic body is not durable.
Finally the back wheel break is very weak, You can't stop the running scooter without using the front disk break.
Yamaha Ray ZR can be recoganized for its masculine bodyline and mostly carries goodwill from its maker Yamaha.
