The Yamaha FZ-10 is a good sports bike in this segment. It is the best option for riders who enjoy riding high-performance bikes because it is made for speed and thrill. The seat is very comfortable and Yamaha made the effort to reduce the forward slope which certainly helps. If you want a joy and stylish ride then the FZ-10 is a good option.

Yamaha Motor India has updated the FZ-10 for 2023 and the bike gets subtle upgrades in the form of OBD 2 compliance, LED indicators, a traction control system, and a new color option.
The 2017 Yamaha FZ-10, although not recently updated in India, still boasts an impressive engine derived from the YZF-R1, featuring a 998cc inline four with a cross-plane crankshaft. This design enhances traction and provides a linear torque feeling, making it a joy to ride on Indian streets. I think this engine is a significant selling point, even years after its release.
The pricing of the FZ-10, if it were to be launched in India, would be a critical factor. With a global price tag of $12,999, it would be positioned as a premium product. I think the price would need to be carefully considered to make it competitive in the Indian market.
The FZ-10s chassis, inspired by the R1, includes a lightweight aluminum frame and a short 55.1-inch wheelbase, making it highly maneuverable. - Yamaha FZ-10 is something more than a naked version of the famous R1 in the company lineup. The motorcycle uses a 998cc, 4-cylinder engine producing 158 BHP at 11500 rpm and 111 Nm at 9000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 250 kmph. Unlike its race friendly cousin, FZ-10 comes with relaxed riding position and claims a weight of 210 kg. It looks futuristic with its twin headlight design and rivals Kawasaki Z1000, Honda CBR1000R, BMW S1000R and Suzuki GSX-S1000. The 17 liter fuel tank makes it lesser vulnerable to frequent refills.
