TVS Fiero FX

Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Fiero FX, although discontinued, leaves a mixed impression. On the positive side, it boasted a butter-smooth 147.5 cc engine, producing 12 BHP and 10.5 Nm of torque, which was commendable for its time. The bikes midrange performance was particularly impressive, thanks to its motocross pedigree. However, its styling was a significant letdown, with a confusing mix of performance and commuter bike elements. The front end was too light and imprecise at speed, and the four-speed gearbox felt outdated. Despite these flaws, the Fiero FX excelled in motorsport and off-road capabilities, contributing significantly to TVS racing prowess. Overall, while it had its strengths, the Fiero FXs inconsistencies and outdated features make it a nostalgic but not highly recommended choice.
Price
The TVS Fiero FX was priced around Rs 50,000 before it was discontinued. Given its ex-showroom price, the on-road price would have been slightly higher, factoring in registration, insurance, and other local taxes. However, since the bike is no longer in production, these prices are now merely historical. For those looking to purchase a used Fiero FX, prices can vary widely depending on the condition, mileage, and location of the bike. As an owner considering buying a used Fiero FX, its crucial to inspect the bike thoroughly and negotiate based on its current state and market demand.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 04:54 AM The TVS Fiero FX offered a reasonable mileage for its segment, with city mileage around 40 kmpl and highway mileage ranging between 40-45 kmpl. This fuel efficiency makes it a viable option for daily commuting, especially considering the running costs. However, the actual mileage can vary based on riding conditions, maintenance, and the riders behavior.
