USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 is a compelling option in the scooter segment, especially for those seeking a blend of style, performance, and practicality. Its sporty design, complete with race-inspired paintwork and contrasting racing stripes, makes it stand out on the road. The scooters 124.6cc engine, though not the most powerful, delivers a respectable 8 bhp and 9 Nm of torque, which is adequate for urban commuting. The under-seat storage, capable of accommodating a full-sized helmet, is a significant advantage. However, the braking system, which relies on 130mm drum brakes at both ends, could be improved. Additionally, the absence of features like a mobile charging port and higher maintenance costs are notable drawbacks. Overall, the Rodeo UZO 125 is a solid choice for those prioritizing comfort, storage, and a sporty aesthetic.
Price
The Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price typically ranges between 70,000 to 80,000, depending on the region and any local taxes. Once you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around 85,000 to 95,000. This pricing makes it an attractive option for buyers looking for a feature-rich scooter without breaking the bank. However, its important to check the current prices at local dealerships as they can vary. From my perspective, the price is justified given the scooters robust build, ample storage, and the overall package it offers.

Great Scooter, Outstanding Performance.

I brought this scooter on 15th Jan 2015, and from the next day of purchase, I faced problem with the fuel gauge which was not accurate at all. Then I took it to the service center and they said that its software had got corrupted and they have to format it. The problem got solved and after a month, the same problem appeared again, this time they replaced a component which was fitted inside the fuel tank. After 3 months, I faced another problem, even after I turned off the ignition a red light would glow on the speedometer for like 24x7 and the battery got dead within a week. I again took it to the service centre for the 4th time and they said that the circuit board might have got wet in the rain and they have to take it out and dry it. Eventually that solved the problem, and till date I haven't faced any problem with the scooter. The problems were minor and may be my scooter had some manufacturing defects and I won't blame anyone for this. Overall it is a great scooter and I am satisfied with it Mileage is better than the previous versions of the Rodeo which is 40-47 also 51 on the highway. Acceleration and pickup is great as it comes equipped Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS) and ALTA system. Top Speed is 94 km/ph and not 80 km/pH as the company claims. Believe me I have tested it myself and it reaches 60 km/ph in 7.9 secs.

Best Features: Throttle Positioning Sensor, Mobile Charging Point, Front Fueling

Pros: Great Mileage, Great Pickup, Sportier Looks, Powerful Engine.

Cons: Faulty fuel Gauge and Speedometer, Irritating Side Stand Buzzer.
