The 2024 KTM 890 Adventure R Rally is set to arrive in early 2024, with preorders starting on September 20, 2023. This limited-edition model, with only 700 units available globally, features exclusive WP Xplor Pro suspension, high-strength spoked Excel wheels, and Mitas Enduro Trail tires. The bike also includes a dedicated rally seat, rally footpegs, and additional protection like carbon fiber tank guards. I think this bike is a dream come true for serious off-road enthusiasts.

KTM has updated the 2024 890 Adventure R Rally with several key features, including Offroad ABS that reduces ABS functionality on the front wheel and deactivates it on the rear when in Offroad or Rally Mode. This allows for better control and braking power in off-road conditions. The bike also boasts a lightweight WP XPLOR PRO 7548 fork and a WP XPLOR PRO 6746 shock absorber, both fully adjustable. I believe these updates make it one of the most capable off-road bikes on the market.

The 2024 KTM 890 Adventure R Rally comes with a powerful 889cc LC8c parallel-Twin engine, producing 90 hp at 8,200 rpm and 62 lb-ft of torque at 6,200 rpm. It features a 6-speed transmission paired with a slip/assist clutch and an Akrapovic slip-on titanium silencer that is 35% lighter than the stock can. The bike also includes Motorcycle Traction Control, ABS with Road and Offroad modes, and three standard ride modes. On long highway stretches, the bike can deliver closer to 20 kml, while off-road excursions and city riding might bring this down to around 15 kml. The 20-litre fuel tank provides a decent range, allowing you to cover significant distances without frequent fuel stops. While the mileage might not be the best, the overall performance and capabilities of the bike make it a worthwhile trade-off for many riders.
