Tuesday, 01 October 2024 09:53 AM The 2024 Kawasaki KLX 230 S is expected to launch in India this month, with a competitive price tag of around Rs 2 lakh, similar to the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. The bike has been localized for the Indian market, which should help in pricing. It features a 233cc air-cooled engine, improved ground clearance, and a new subframe for longer wheel travel. I think this localization will make it a strong contender in the dual-sport segment.
Monday, 01 April 2024 04:38 PM The 2024 Kawasaki KLX 230 S is set to compete directly with other dual-sport bikes in the Indian market, such as the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. With its competitive pricing and localized features, Kawasaki is aiming to capture a significant share of the market. I believe the KLX 230 S has the potential to be a top seller in this segment.
Friday, 15 March 2024 07:14 AM Kawasaki has emphasized the importance of smartphone connectivity in their 2024 KLX models through the RIDEOLOGY THE APP. This feature allows riders to connect their smartphones to the bikes LCD instrumentation, enhancing the riding experience with additional data and controls. I think this technology integration is a step in the right direction for modern motorcycles.
Friday, 01 March 2024 10:50 AM The 2024 Kawasaki KLX 300 and KLX 300SM have been praised for their lightweight design and improved suspension. The bikes are ideal for both beginners and experienced riders, offering a versatile riding experience on both streets and dirt trails. I believe the combination of power and handling makes these bikes a great choice for dual-sport enthusiasts.

Which is better Kawasaki KLX230RS or Kawasaki KX112?
17 April 2025 19:45

The choice between the Kawasaki KLX230RS and the Kawasaki KX112 depends on several factors, including your riding needs, budget, and preferences. The KLX230RS, priced at Rs. 5.21 lakh, offers a more powerful 233 cc, 4-stroke single engine producing 19.57 bhp @ 8000 rpm, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a larger 6.6 litres fuel tank. It is designed for off-road capabilities with a higher ground clearance of 275 mm and a seat height of 900 mm. However, it provides a lower mileage of 14 kmpl compared to the KX112. The Kawasaki KX112, priced at Rs. 4.88 lakh, features a smaller 112 cc, 2-stroke engine, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a 5 litres fuel tank. It offers better fuel efficiency with a mileage of 24.18 kmpl but has less power and a lower seat height of 870 mm. The KX112 also has a higher ground clearance of 330 mm and is significantly lighter at 77 kg compared to the KLX230RS's 115 kg. If you prioritize power, off-road capabilities, and are willing to compromise on fuel efficiency, the Kawasaki KLX230RS might be the better choice. However, if you are looking for a more fuel-efficient bike with lighter handling and a lower price point, the Kawasaki KX112 could be more suitable.

Does Kawasaki KLX230RS need a license?
17 April 2025 19:45

Yes, it is required to have a driving license to drive the Kawasaki KLX230RS. This off-road motorcycle, with its 233cc fuel-injected, air-cooled single-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission, is classified as a full-size motorcycle that necessitates a valid driving license for operation.

Why are the prices of dirt bikes like Kawasaki KLX110 very high in India?
02 January 2023 06:47
Kawasaki KLX and any other dirt bike from Japanese manufacturers are expensive in India as they are imported as CBU's to the country. Not just this one, even Suzuki's off-road quad bikes are quite expensive as compared to their engine sizes and international pricing. The KLX 110 is powered by a 112 cc, 4-stroke motor producing 7.2 BHP and 8 Nm of torque. It weighs just 76 kg, thereby being around 40 kg lighter than a conventional bike with same engine size. It can be bought in India for INR 2,80,000.
