Vehicle Overview | Honda MSX125 (Grom) is a monkey bike that resembles a street bike in terms of design but feels even smaller than the Honda Navi from India. It uses premium components like USD front forks, high mounted motorcycle exhaust and rear disc brake. The tyres are even thicker than an average Indian sport bike. It comes with a 124.9cc, air cooled and fuel injected engine, producing 9.7 BHP at 7000 rpm and 10.9 Nm at 5500 rpm. The best part is its 4-speed manual gearbox, making it sport effective when compared the Indian Honda Navi. It weighs just 101.7 kg with a full fuel tank of 5.5 liters. Honda MSX125 was recently spotted testing in India in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), and it might launch here within next 2-3 months. |

Why did Honda not launch Honda MSX 125 in India?
29 December 2022 06:08Honda may launch the MSX 125 in India at some later stage while the Navi resembles the MSX 125 and can be called as an Indian version to this monkey bike. The engine on the MSX is a 125 cc unit while the Indian Navi uses the 110 cc engine from Honda Activa. The sporty character of Honda MSX 125 differentiates it from the others while the Navi carries the economical bits as it has been actually derived from a scooter for real. The MSX 125 will carry bigger tyres, dual disc brakes and a raised exhaust.
