Honda CBR150R Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India are going to introduce a new motorcycle soon and this could be the entry-level motorcycle in India. The company has filed a patent application for this, which indicates that this motorcycle will knock on our doors soon. This is the Honda CBR150R. This motorcycle will launch with many good designs and features. Whenever this Honda bike is launched, it will compete with the Yamaha R15 V4. Outside of the Honda CBR 150R, the design will be very sharp.
Its exterior design can be seen as inspired by the larger-sized CBR motorcycle. This is also a series. At the front, dual-LED headlamps have been given to this motorcycle. Also, LED DRLs will be available in them. Talking about other features, it will get a compact windscreen and a sporty rear view mirror. A low-set wide handlebar will be available, which will have a digital instrument cluster. A sculpted fuel tank, an upswept exhaust and step-up seats will be available. It will get golden colours for a sporty appeal. Talking about the exterior colour options, they will include Victory Black Red, Honda Racing Red, Dominator Matte Black, Candy Scarlet Red, and MotoGP Edition. However, a slight change in the colour variant can also be seen in the Indian variant.
2023 Honda CBR150R could get a 149cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that can generate power of 16.09 HP at 9000 rpm. At the same time, the torque of 13.7 Nm can be generated at 7000 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox. It has been given the slip and assists the clutch. Talking about the braking system, a single-use disc has been used in it, which will come with ABS and Emergency Stop Single (ESS). The company wants to increase its presence on entry-level bikes. The company hopes that this will help it increase its market share again.

2012 Honda CBR150R vs. 2016 Honda CBR150R (Indonesia), which one is better and long-lasting?
14 September 2023 09:40Honda CBR150R 2016 is a better-looking bike than its 2012 model. The manufacturing quality has been kept standard by Honda and long-lasting parameter stays the same for both of them. The CBR150R comes with a much refined 149.16 cc engine producing 16.9 BHP and 13.7 Nm of torque. It uses LED front headlights and looks more like the bigger 500 cc CBR. The motorcycle comes with a lightweight 135 kg body and claims 39.72 kmpl of fuel efficiency. It looks, feels, and drives much better than the 2012 CBR150R.

Can we attach ABS (anti-lock braking system) to HONDA CBR150R?
14 September 2023 09:41At present, the company provides no such option as ABS and it comes as a factory-fitted product on the Honda CBR250R only. TVS may revolutionize the ABS technology as it will soon offer it as a dealer level fitment on its new Apache RTR 200 4V. That may force all the others to get a dealer-level option of fitting ABS and you may soon get an option of ABS in your CBR150R. The technology can cost anything between INR 10,000-15,000 depending upon the grade and number of channels used for the bike.

What is the exact launch date for 2016 Honda CBR150R in India?
29 December 2022 06:02The 2016 Honda CBR150R is not coming to India. Very sad because this bike ticked all the right boxes, and had the potential to be real game-changer in its segment. Well, for now the older model will continue to retail.
