Latest Updates
Thursday, 30 April 2020 08:18 AM In April 2020, Honda discontinued the Aviator scooter in India due to the implementation of BS6 emission norms. This marked the end of the Aviators production run that began in 2008. The scooter was known for its 109cc engine and V-Matic transmission. I think this was a significant loss for fans of the Aviator, as it was a popular choice among scooter enthusiasts.
Saturday, 15 December 2018 01:52 PM In 2018, Honda updated the Aviator with a new instrument console and an LED headlamp. This minor update aimed to enhance the scooters appeal and modernize its features. The update also reflected Hondas commitment to keeping their models fresh and competitive. I believe these updates made the Aviator more attractive to potential buyers.
Friday, 15 October 2010 03:39 PM The Honda Aviator 110, launched in 2010, featured a new 109cc engine that developed 8 bhp of maximum power and 9 Nm of torque. This engine was praised for its refinement and fuel efficiency, with a claimed 15% increase in mileage. The scooter also included a viscous air filter and a maintenance-free battery, enhancing its overall performance and convenience. I think these technological advancements made the Aviator a compelling option in the scooter market.
Monday, 20 September 2010 07:26 PM The 2010 Honda Aviator was designed with a focus on style and comfort, targeting married males in the 30-40 age group. It featured a triangular instrument panel, alloy wheels, and a combined braking system (CBS) for enhanced safety. The scooters suspension system, including telescopic front forks, improved its handling and ride quality. I believe the Aviators blend of style and functionality made it a strong contender in the premium scooter segment.
Wednesday, 25 August 2010 02:51 PM The Honda Aviator 110 Deluxe model was introduced with additional features such as an elegant front-cover finished in chrome, body-color grab rail, and instrument panel garnish. These additions were meant to enhance the scooters premium appeal. The Deluxe model also came with alloy wheels and CBS, further distinguishing it from the standard model. I think these extra features made the Deluxe version quite appealing to those looking for a bit of luxury in their scooter.
Thursday, 15 July 2010 01:19 PM The 2010 Honda Aviator had a fuel tank capacity of 6 liters and a kerb weight of 102.30 kg. It featured a high-rigidity under-bone type chassis and a ground clearance of 145 mm. The scooters dimensions and weight distribution made it stable and easy to handle, especially in urban conditions. I believe these specifications contributed to the Aviators popularity among commuters.
Thursday, 10 June 2010 06:16 PM The Honda Aviator was priced between Rs 49,700 and Rs 52,000 in India during its launch in 2010. This pricing made it competitive in the scooter market, offering good value for money. The scooter was available in several color options, including Neo Orange Metallic, Pearl Heron Blue, and Rebel Red Metallic. I think the pricing strategy helped in making the Aviator accessible to a wide range of buyers.
Thursday, 20 May 2010 07:13 AM The 2010 Honda Aviator boasted a 109cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine with a single cylinder, producing 8 HP at 8000 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The scooter had an automatic transmission and drum brakes at both the front and rear. These specifications made it a reliable and efficient choice for daily commuting. I believe the engines performance was one of the key selling points of the Aviator.
Thursday, 15 April 2010 02:58 AM Honda introduced the Aviator with a focus on its vast service network, which was seen as a significant advantage. The scooters good mileage, estimated at 40-50 kmpl, and its overall build quality were also highlighted as key benefits. These factors contributed to the Aviators popularity among scooter buyers in India. I think the service network was a crucial factor in building customer trust.
Thursday, 25 March 2010 08:18 AM The Honda Aviator 110 was launched to compete with other scooters like the Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Duro. It was positioned as a premium product, targeting style-conscious buyers who sought quality and comfort. The scooters design and features were intended to appeal to a more mature demographic. I believe this strategy helped Honda tap into a specific market segment effectively.
