Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero HX250R ABS is a significant entry in the Indian motorcycle market, particularly for those seeking a blend of performance and practicality. Powered by a 249cc, 4-stroke single-cylinder DOHC engine, this bike delivers 31 PS of power and 26 Nm of torque, making it quite capable for both city riding and occasional highway cruises. The six-speed constant mesh transmission and the advanced multi-sensor electronic fuel injection system ensure smooth and efficient power delivery. The bikes geodesic tubular frame and optimized suspension setup provide crisp handling and a comfortable ride. However, the absence of this model in current market listings suggests it may not be readily available, which could be a drawback for potential buyers. Overall, its a well-engineered bike that would appeal to riders looking for a balance between performance and everyday usability.
Price
The Hero HX250R ABS, when it was available, was priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price was expected to be around 1.6 to 1.8 lakhs, depending on the region. On-road prices would have varied, typically ranging from 1.8 to 2.2 lakhs, including taxes, registration, and other costs. However, since the bike is no longer in production or widely available, these prices are more indicative of its past market positioning. For buyers considering similar models, its essential to look at current offerings from Hero and other manufacturers.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 03:17 PM
The mileage of the Hero HX250R ABS is a crucial factor for potential buyers. With its 249cc engine and advanced fuel injection system, this bike is expected to deliver a mileage of around 30-35 kml in city conditions and up to 40 kml on highways, depending on riding habits and road conditions. This makes it a reasonable choice for those concerned about running costs, especially given its performance capabilities.

What is the seat height of this bike ???
is pickup and gear switch of hero bikes better than honda bikes??
What is the On-Road price of this bike in Kochi, Kerala?
It has the best in class specifications with such a lower cost.
No other manufacturer would give 31 bhp except R25.. but its almost double the cost of hx250r. This proves that Hero's tie up with EBR will show good results.
Kerb Weight is *138 kg.
