Hero HF Deluxe ECO Review
Detailed Review by Maxabout Team
Hero MotoCorp is undoubtedly the largest two-wheeler manufacturer of India and has its headquarters in New Delhi. It was founded in 1984 as a joint collaboration between Honda of Japan and Hero Cycles of India and immediately made its name in the two-wheeler market with their technologically advanced and stylish products. They were called Hero Honda then and after splitting in 2010 from Honda, it chooses Hero MotoCorp as its name in 2011. They also recently acquired stakes in a USA based street and racing motorcycles producing company, Erik Buell Racing in July 2013.
Hero MotoCorp unveiled 15 restyled products of their stable with new and exciting features on October 10, 2013 at a press conference in Gurgaon which will be available in the Indian market within a period of 5-6 months. It is a well-played hand by Hero MotoCorp seeing the approach of festive season in India and some of these products were also becoming a little old-fashioned. Among these 15, Hero HF Deluxe ECO certainly stands out due to its stylish appearance and attractive features.
Design and Style
Hero HF Deluxe ECO has an air of freshness around it with an eco-friendly demeanour. It has stylish trapezoidal multi-reflector headlight, a Self-Start option, new Green shade with cool 3D body graphics, more fuel efficiency than the standard variant, distinctive and aerodynamically designed rear view mirrors, new stickers, clear lens indicators, a side stand indicator, nicely positioned handlebar, low rolling resistance tires for decreasing air resistance at high speeds, air foils on the leg guards, a wide and comfortable seat and a bright tail light.
Engine and Gearbox
Hero HF Deluxe ECO has a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, Air-cooled, Digital CDI, OHC based engine with a maximum power of 7.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.04 Nm at 4500 rpm and has a 4-speed gearbox transmission. It also has a Tubular Double Cradle type chassis and gives a top speed of almost 85 kmph. The company is also claiming a better mileage of this commuter as compared to its standard variant.
Braking System and Suspension
Hero HF Deluxe ECO has an Internal Expanding Shoe type Drum brakes of diameter 130mm and 110mm at front and at rear respectively. The suspension system remains the same as before and consists of Telescopic Hydraulic Shock Absorbers at front and Swing-arm with 2-step adjustable Hydraulic Shock Absorber at rear. Its instrument console consists of an Analogue Fuel Gauge and Speedometer and a Low Fuel indicator.
Price and Warranty
The ex-showroom, Delhi price of this beautiful commuter bike is INR 50,500 which may vary slightly in different states. It also comes with a Vehicle warranty of 5 years or 70,000kms and an Emission warranty of 3 years or 30,000kms. Best in class... among all 100cc bikes
Best in class .... this is an awesome bike for those who loves to ride with comfort. I bought this deluxe thing in just 55500 on road with all accessories. If you want a bike which never lets u down then just make it own, I know u all have lots of competitors to buy but. It is far better than Platina, mileage is a bit less than Platina but other bike nothing can beat this, it is better than Star City Plus, Discover 100, Mahindra and all Honda Dream series bikes.
Best Features: Braking and control
Pros: 1. Super sock absorbers .2 Mileage 60 any how this figure will surely increase bon high way 3. handling 4. Comfort 5. Reliability 6. Cute looks 7. Ample of room to place to seat
Cons: Top speed not more than 85 but easily reaches 70 kmph
