Thursday, 28 October 2010 10:24 AM Hero Honda launched a facelift of the CBZ Xtreme in late 2010, which included new color schemes, clear lens indicators, a tail lamp setup, and a part digital instrument cluster. This update also ensured the bike complied with BS3 emission norms. I think these changes made the bike more appealing and modern.
Friday, 13 August 2010 12:05 AM In August 2010, there was speculation about potential upgrades for the CBZ Xtreme, following the revamp of the Hero Honda Hunk with trendy features like a rear disc brake, digital console, and LED taillights. However, no major upgrades were announced for the CBZ Xtreme at that time. I believe the Hunks upgrades set a high bar for other models.
Tuesday, 15 June 2010 05:57 AM By 2010, the Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme had established itself as a reliable and smooth bike, known for its comfort and good power delivery. It was praised for its handling at high speeds and its adjustable suspension, which could be set softer for pillion rider comfort or stiffer for better stability. I think this versatility made it a favorite among many riders.
Saturday, 10 April 2010 05:50 AM In the early part of 2010, Hero Honda was still selling the CBZ Xtreme alongside other popular models like the Achiever, Karizma, and ZMR in the 150cc and above segment. The CBZ Xtreme continued to be a strong contender in the market due to its balanced performance and features. I believe its enduring popularity was a testament to its design and engineering.
Saturday, 20 March 2010 05:03 PM As of 2010, the Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme was noted for its smooth power delivery, with 14.4 PS of power and 12.8 Nm of torque, making it a gem for both city riding and highway cruising. The bikes exhaust note was also praised for its pleasant sound. I think the engines smoothness was one of its standout features.
Monday, 15 February 2010 05:56 AM In 2010, the CBZ Xtreme was still using the same 149cc engine and five-speed gearbox that had been introduced a few years earlier. This engine was derived from the Honda Unicorn and provided a good balance of power and smoothness. I believe this engine choice was a key factor in the bikes success.
Sunday, 10 January 2010 04:12 PM By the start of 2010, Hero Honda had already separated from its joint venture with Honda, but the CBZ Xtreme, which was a product of this joint venture, continued to be popular. The bikes reliability and low maintenance were major selling points. I think the separation did not immediately impact the bikes appeal.

MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW
Vehicle Overview Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme was a performance benchmark of its time. The motorcycle was the most affordable way to taste the performance of new generation bikes as Karizma was quite expensive when compared to its price tag of INR 67,400. Hero Honda CBZ was powered by a 149.2 cc, single cylinder engine that produces 14.2 BHP at 8500 rpm and 12.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. Performance is a relative word and most other bikes of that time even weighed close to the 143 kg wet weight of Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme. It claimed a top speed of 115 kmph while Bajaj Pulsar 150 was the primary rival at its time.
