BMW Motorrad India has announced the launch of the 2023 S1000RR in our market. The motorcycle is available in three variants and prices start from Rs 20.25 lakh. Check out the variant-wise prices: Standard: Rs 20.25 lakh, Pro: Rs 22.15 lakh, Pro M Sport: Rs 24.55 lakh.

Friday, 01 November 2024 01:21 AM The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR has been significantly refined for track use, featuring a new M short-stroke throttle that requires only 58 degrees of rotation for full acceleration, reducing wrist strain and improving response. The bike also includes new winglets that generate up to 37.7 lbs of aerodynamic downforce at 186 mph, enhancing stability and reducing the likelihood of wheelies. Additionally, the S 1000 RR comes with standard Pro riding modes, including Race Pro modes, and a new steering angle sensor that enables Brake Slide Assist and Slide Control functions. I believe these updates make the S 1000 RR a formidable track machine.
Friday, 01 November 2024 12:56 AM BMW Motorrad has updated the S 1000 RR with a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine producing 206 hp and 113 Nm of torque, complying with Euro 5+ emissions standards. The engine features new cylinder heads with revised channel geometry, reinforced bearing brackets, and full-shaft titanium valves. The bike also boasts a new front wheel cover with integrated brake ducts for improved brake cooling and new fairing side panels for a more striking design. I think these technical enhancements will appeal to serious track enthusiasts.
Wednesday, 30 October 2024 06:09 PM The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR includes advanced control systems, such as the Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) with new Slide Control and Slip Control functions, thanks to the introduction of a steering angle sensor. This sensor also enables the Brake Slide Assist function of the BMW Race ABS Pro, allowing for controlled braking drifts. The bike is available in three color schemes, including Blackstorm metallic, Bluestone metallic, and Lightwhite uni/M Motorsport. I believe these control systems will significantly improve the riding experience.
Wednesday, 30 October 2024 03:27 PM BMW Motorrad has enhanced the standard features of the S 1000 RR, now including the Pro riding modes as standard, along with additional Race Pro modes. The bike also features Launch Control, Pit Lane Limiter, Wheelie Control, and electronic cruise control. The Dynamics package, which includes the DDC electronic chassis, is designed for optimum damping and road contact in every riding situation. I think these features make the S 1000 RR highly versatile for both track and road use.
Monday, 14 October 2024 09:07 AM The new BMW S 1000 RR benefits from optimized aerodynamics, with a newly designed front fairing and composite plastic winglets that generate significant downforce. This design helps maintain front wheel contact with the ground during acceleration, reducing the need for DTC intervention. The bikes frame has also been tweaked, with a lowered steering head angle and reduced offset of the fork bridges for improved front wheel accuracy. I believe these aerodynamic and chassis improvements will make the bike more stable and responsive.

Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

  • Which bike is better to buy BMW S1000RR or Kawasaki ZX10RR?

    18 September 2023 08:09

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR has been discontinued in the Indian market. On the other hand, the BMW S 1000 RR is a great sports bike that offers a great look, It also gets a twin-LED headlamp setup while the tail lamp has been integrated into the rear turn indicators. Additionally, it features 1000 RR-inspired winglets. Aside from this, the bike comes equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled 6.5-inch color TFT instrument console, a new twin-spar aluminum frame, a subframe, and a WSBK-inspired swingarm. The 999cc inline-four motor makes 209.3PS, which is 2.72PS more than the previous model. The peak torque of 113Nm remains the same.

Upgraded from my old Gixxer to the S1000RR. Yaar, what a difference! The power is addictive, and the electronics make me feel like a pro rider. But be ready for hefty service bills - this German beauty is high-maintenance. Still, worth every paisa for the thrill it gives.
