Our take on this /// Verdict
The BMW G 310 GS 40 Years GS Edition is a standout in the adventure motorcycle segment, offering a blend of comfort, versatility, and off-road capability that is hard to match. While it may not be the most powerful bike in its class, its moderately rev-happy engine and well-tuned suspensions make it an excellent choice for mixed terrain riding. The bikes ergonomics are well-sorted, with a comfortable riders triangle and a plush seat that makes long rides a breeze. However, it does come with some minor drawbacks, such as vibrations at certain RPMs and a lack of power for high-speed cruising. Despite these, the overall package is highly commendable, making it a great option for those seeking a reliable and enjoyable adventure motorcycle.
Price
In India, the BMW G 310 GS 40 Years GS Edition is priced at around 2.91 lakhs ex-showroom, which is about 6000 more than the standard variant. On-road prices can vary depending on the state and local taxes, but you can expect to pay around 3.5 to 3.7 lakhs. Given the features and quality of the bike, this pricing seems reasonable, especially considering the exclusive design elements and the premium feel of the motorcycle. However, its worth noting that the initial price drop for earlier models might have left some early buyers feeling a bit cheated, but the current pricing reflects the value and capabilities of the bike.

Speculations suggest that the next update for the BMW G 310 GS might include significant changes such as an updated instrument cluster, increased fuel tank capacity from 11L to 15L, and new riding modes including an off-road mode. Additionally, there could be a new headlight design and improved exhaust note. I believe these potential updates would make the G 310 GS even more competitive in the adventure bike segment in India.

The mileage of the BMW G 310 GS 40 Years GS Edition is generally satisfactory, though not exceptional. Users have reported an average fuel efficiency of around 30-35 kmpl, which can vary based on riding conditions and style. Great bike under this price range with different options of all categories.
It is definitely recommended for long touring, Pros - seat comfortability, Breaking, Suspension, Design. Cond - low power, Normal display not TFT, Missing charging power socket, and nonadjustable ABS.
Very poor quality battery from BMW….The bike will have multiple starting issues and will leave you in the middle of the road due to this issue at least twice yearly. Battery issues cannot be rectified even after repeated services.
It is a smooth-running bike, the Best option in this segment that meets off-road and on-road rides with friends or family.
