FAQs
-
Is the R1300GSA's new tech overkill for an adventure bike?
23 January 2025 11:22Totally overkill. Simple and robust is what adventure bikes should be. It’s just more stuff to break when I’m out in the middle of nowhere.
-
Will the R1300GSA's added power make it too much for a beginner?
23 January 2025 11:22It's definitely not the most beginner friendly. More power equals more responsibility and new riders can get in over their heads.
-
Will the R1300GSA's added power make it too much for a beginner?
23 January 2025 11:22It's all about self-control. Beginners need to respect the power, and learn gradually – the bike has the tech to keep you safe.
-
Is the new R1300GSA still up to the 'go anywhere' spirit of the GS line?
23 January 2025 11:22Absolutely! In addition, the new suspension and electronics actually make it even more capable off-road, and improve on road comfort.
-
Is the R1250GSA really worth the upgrade from the R1300GSA?
23 January 2025 11:22I rode both back to back and the difference is subtle honestly. This little bit of extra processing power won’t make you a better developer unless you’re pushing the limits of what your unit can do.
-
What does the new design of the R1300GSA do to its iconic 'adventure bike' look?
23 January 2025 11:22The redesign has gone too far. That unique GS character is lost, something which it had in spades and separated it from other adventure bikes.
