Our take on this /// Verdict
The Benelli BN 125 is a compelling entry-level naked bike that, although not yet available in the Indian market, shows promise for urban commuters and novice riders. With its 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 11.1 BHP and 10 Nm of torque, it offers a balanced blend of power and fuel efficiency. The bikes design, inspired by the larger TNT 302, gives it a sporty and muscular appearance that is sure to appeal to the younger generation. The use of USD forks and a monoshock for suspension, along with a combination braking system, ensures a smooth and safe riding experience. However, the absence of ABS and the relatively high expected price in India might be deterrents for some potential buyers. Overall, it is a solid choice for those looking for a stylish, easy-to-handle, and fuel-efficient motorcycle.
Price
While the Benelli BN 125 is not currently available in India, it is expected to be priced around INR 80,000 ex-showroom if it were to be launched. Considering the import costs and other factors, the on-road price could be closer to INR 1 lakh, making it a bit pricey compared to other 125cc motorcycles in the Indian market. However, this price reflects the bikes quality components, such as the USD forks and the sporty design elements. For buyers who value the Benelli brand and the specific features of the BN 125, this price might be justified, but it could be a barrier for those on a tighter budget.
