Benelli BN 125 Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Showcased at EICMA 2017, Benelli BN 125 is an entry-level naked bike from the brand specifically launched for grabbing the attention of urban youth. With a 125 cc engine at its heart, the bike gets its design language inspired from the Benelli BN 251. It is available in the market in 3 color shades- white, black and red.
Coming to the engine specification, the Benelli BN 125 is powered by a 125cc, Single-Cylinder, air-cooled engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 11.1 BHP @ 9500 rpm and an utmost torque of 10 NM @ 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and features an electric fuel injection system. The suspension duties are handled by 35mm upside down forks at the front while the rear wheel gets an adjustable monoshock. The Benelli BN 125 gets all the features inspired from BN 251 only exhibiting a distinctive engine cowl design.
With an aggressive front profile highlighting the serrated headlamp and front fenders, the bike grabs attention on the road with its muscular and sportier stance. It gets 260mm single disc brake with a three-piston caliper at the front and a 240mm single disc brake at the rear. The bike is not equipped with ABS but does get a Combi Braking System(CBS). The instrument panel is standard and the bike is equipped with aluminium alloy wheels. Judging from all the features, the Benelli BN 125 is perfect for commuters or the first time riders.
