Is the Bajaj Discover 100M a city commuter or is it comfortable enough for long rides?
29 January 2025 07:29People don’t give it enough credit, it’s more capable. Did a 1000km trip last year. Was it the most comfortable? No. It was super efficient, but it got the job done.
-
What is the Bajaj Discover 100M like to ride in wet conditions compared to its competitors?
29 January 2025 07:29I ride as a food delivery rider, and I rely on my Discover every day, rain or shine. It’s reliable enough, but you have to be extra careful and smooth with inputs when it is wet.
-
Is modifying the Bajaj Discover 100M for better performance actually worth it or is it a waste of money?
29 January 2025 07:29I’ve seen some crazy Discover builds with big bore kits and all. Yeah, they’re faster, but the reliability just goes out the window. Not a daily commuter, not worth it.
-
Is the Bajaj Discover 100M really 'bulletproof' or is it just hype?
29 January 2025 07:29For 6 years now my dad has been using one for his milk delivery business. It’s that thing that has been driven around on rural roads and keeps going. That’s pretty impressive if you ask me.
-
So does the Bajaj Discover 100M's "DTS-i" technology really make a difference?
29 January 2025 07:29As a former engineering student, I can tell you that the theory behind DTS i is solid. In the real world, so many things impact mileage it's difficult to separate it out.
-
Is the Bajaj Discover 100M really the 'King of Mileage' or just hype?
29 January 2025 07:23It's definitely not just hype. I’ve been riding my Discover 100M for over 2 years now, and I get 75-80 km/l consistently in mixed city highway riding. It's not the claimed 84 km/l, but it's still pretty damn efficient. All you need to do is ride sensibly and obey maintenance.

Can Bajaj discover 100M beat the Honda CB shine in terms of top speed...???
02 January 2023 06:31Bajaj Discover 125 M can beat the Honda CB Shine in terms of top speed. The Discover gets a lightweight design and produces more power than the Honda Shine, making it capable of a better run and clearly wining in the situation. Bajaj Discover 125 M comes with a 124.6 cc engine producing 11.3 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 10.8 NM @ 6,000 rpm. It comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox and weighs 117 kg only. It gets a top speed of 100 kmph whereas the CB Shine gets a top speed of 95 kmph only. With its 9.5 liter of fuel tank, the bike can easily cover 500+ km. It comes with a price tag of INR 52,000-55,000 for the drum and disc brake variants respectively.

My daily run is 70km, which one is better – Honda Livo, Bajaj Discover 100M, TVS Start City Plus, Phoenix 125, Honda CB Shine or Hero Passion xPRO?
02 January 2023 06:28You can better opt out for the new TVS Victor, relaunched recently with a 110 cc engine. The motorcycle is good for 9.46 BHP and 9.4 Nm of torque. It comes with an excellent mileage and costs INR 49,490 for the drum brake variant while the disc brake variant can be bought for INR 51,490. TVS Victor comes out to be the most powerful motorcycle of the segment and offers a peace of mind when it comes to maintenance and spare costs.
