USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda Dream Yuga with alloy wheels is a solid choice for commuters in India, offering a blend of reliability, fuel efficiency, and practicality. The bikes refined 110cc engine, which produces 8.25bhp and 8.63Nm of torque, provides ample power for navigating through city traffic and occasional long rides. The riding position is neutral, making it comfortable for daily commutes, although the seat could be firmer for longer rides. The suspension, comprising telescopic forks at the front and spring-loaded hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear, handles Indian roads well. However, the braking system, with 130mm drum brakes at both ends, feels a bit lacking, especially when relying solely on the front brake. Overall, its a great option for those prioritizing fuel efficiency, reliability, and affordability.
Price
The Honda Dream Yuga with alloy wheels and electric start is priced competitively in the Indian market. As of its launch, the ex-showroom price in Mumbai was around Rs 51,678. When considering on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can escalate to approximately Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers who need a reliable commuter bike. The cost is justified by the bikes build quality, fuel efficiency, and the convenience of alloy wheels and an electric start.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 12:46 PM The Honda Dream Yuga is known for its impressive mileage, which is a crucial factor for Indian buyers. With Hondas Eco Technology (HET), the bike is claimed to deliver a mileage of around 74kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient options in its segment. This high mileage, combined with an 8-liter fuel tank, ensures that riders can cover long distances without frequent refueling, significantly reducing running costs.

I have been riding this bike for 3 years and it gives good mileage. The bikes looks similar to its sibling Honda Shine. It is amazing bike with good features in the commuter segment of motorcycles. Based on HET, Technology it offers great efficiency, comfortable in riding and handling. Even it is easy on pocket as far as maintenance is concerned.

I purchased Honda Dream Yuga 2 years back(not HET). I am not a technical person or comment technically. But definitely before buying bike I was very clear about my own requirements: 1. Lightweight 2. My driving speed is less than 50 KMPH (even in city areas it is not possible to cross 50 KMPH speed for more than 1 min) so for me 100 CC bike is more than enough. 3. I mostly drive alone without taking anybody on back seat. 4. A fair average of approx 60 KM per ltr 5. Trusted quality brand. (some lower price brands vehicle start rusting and making noses after 2 monsoons seasons). If I try to drive fast (more than 50 KMPH) or take someone on back seat or carry heavy loads then definitely 100cc engine starts making noises. There is no point for giving negative marks for this because you cant expect 100cc to carry more loads, if your requirement is to drive fast or carry load then you can go for min 125cc engine bike. My mileage is approx 64 KM per ltr., If I drive with 35-45 speed, alone and with minimum use of 1-3 gears e.g. driving on less crowded areas / main roads. Speed, weight and use of 1-3 gears are not maintained then mileage will not be as per your expectation. Finally I am not a Honda representative but cant expect a Rs. 60,000/- ( 100 CC) bike to perform like 150 CC powerful engine bike. If you want to go for lower price bike then please refer my above 5th No. point. Dream yuga meet all my expectations so 5 stars. ([email protected])

I bought this bike recently, it is a waste damn f***king bike really, it has a poor braking system, it cannot handle above 40 speed. It even can't ride in major cities like Hyderabad as it cannot pickup on slant or up roads even with doubles, it dies literally. I even met with an accident due to this damn f**king bike.I hate this dirty failure bike. I am writing this review at least a few people will get saved without buying this bike. I bought it in installments with great love but they gave me this dirty bike.this is really a waste bike save your lives without buying this bike.

I think Bajaj bikes serve only for 1-2 yrs...... but for long time Honda bikes are better .........

They are playing fool of Indians. They study the market and fix as much price as they can. The bike has just 2 added advantages, viscous air filter and tuf up tyres. It is better spending Rs 30 in replacing a new filter than paying thousands of rupees in what you call 'viscous air filter'. That too the tufup tyres give only one advantge , they donot get easily punctured. It is not vice to invest on this bike.

1 month ago honda fixed dream yuga price range 46000 range but know 54000 to 56000 with all assosories. it is too high 110cc because bajaj 125cc price range is 53000 good handling and good mileage max speed reach 105km. but yuga reach max speed about 85km and with out disk break. honda suggest this one because price rate closlely raise 125 bajaj& shine.

i am realey confused about honda dream yuga avg mileage is 60kmpl but already you can see tvs&bajaj segment bike like discover 100cc &star city gives more mileage 70kmpl, same feature and price also low more than 5000 to 6000. what it is have when compare that segment.

honda four strokes are nothing when compare with yamaha four stroke bikes.. for example, initially i was extremely admired with SHINE, but after riding SZX from yamaha it seems to be a bullock cart. . i am not playing.. u too just try and feel the difference please.. thank u
