FAQs
-
Could modernizing the Bajaj Boxer BM150 spoil its charm?
14 January 2025 07:57It depends on how they do it. If there were subtle updates that they could use, maybe, but if there was a complete overhaul, it would almost certainly backfire.
-
Is the fuel efficiency of the Bajaj Boxer BM150 worth the hit in performance?
14 January 2025 07:57It's perfect for new riders. It is excellent for fuel efficiency and power is manageable meaning it is ideal for learning and building your confidence.
-
Is the Bajaj Boxer BM150 the best budget commuter bike for India?
14 January 2025 07:57That's not always bad, but it’s outdated. With a simple design, there are fewer things to break, which is fantastic for areas with limited service options.
-
So is that lack of features what makes the Bajaj Boxer BM150 more interesting?
14 January 2025 07:57Absolutely! It’s the simplicity that’s the biggest selling point. No unneeded gadgets to break or take away you from the pure riding expertise.
-
Should delivery riders and small businesses pick the Bajaj Boxer BM150?
14 January 2025 07:57I would say it is still one of the best options. The fuel efficiency is alone enough to make it a winner for businesses trying to watch their bottom line.
-
Could the Bajaj Boxer come back as a retro styled bike?
14 January 2025 07:54If they keep it affordable, it could work. Not everyone is willing to pay Royal Enfield prices to get retro looks.

14 January 2025 07:54It’s not so much that design trends are regressing, but that they’re going backwards. The Boxer was always supposed to be simple.

The Bajaj Boxer was it really indestructible?
14 January 2025 07:54How you define "indestructible" depends. It would take a beating, but it needed to be cared for properly.
-
Did Bajaj make a mistake by discontinuing the Boxer in India?
14 January 2025 07:54Nah, it was time to move on. The Boxer didn't fit with the modern safety and emission standards.
User Reviews for Bajaj Boxer
Best Bike
One of the best bikes with the most significant mileage is such a good bike.
Awesome bike
Bajaj Boxer is a wonderful bike, But this problem is in breaks.
Good Performance
Excellent performance and nearly zero maintenance. There is nothing to say about mileage. Best bike in comfort and for maintaining the perfect body posture.
Commuter bikes
I personally think this is one of the best commuter bikes from Bajaj ever. Riding it for almost 21 years now; extremely reliable and cost-effective for very low overall maintenance cost.
A Bike for the Tough terrain
I have used this for 3.5 years since October 2011. The model I have is a Blue Bike with Alloy wheels. It has done over 35,000 Km & has been very fuel efficient . 55 kmpl in town & 68 kmpl on log distances. Gives the Honda CD 125 a run for it's money.
Best Features: Does not sway when braking at 90 Kmph, Handles easily at 90 Kmph, Pulls uphill with 350 Kg, Low maintenance
Pros: Rugged, Tough, Quick acceleration, Good fuel consumption, dependable, low maintenance
Cons: Needs a 65/55 W head light, 5 speed gear box, Rev meter, Parking light,
